Brisket was excellent. Pulled pork was good. So much meat on the sandwich there was some left over!

Absolutely tasty brisket sandwich! I would have given five stars if it weren’t for the overpricing. $3 for a standard can of soda or a water bottle is excessive.

Just tried this tonight at the salute to summer. I spoke with who I think was the owner about what style of BBQ they did. Being from Memphis I was curious. He didn't seem very educated on BBQ and couldn't tell me. My pulled pork sandwich had way too much fat in it. You should take that unrendered fat out because it gives a terrible mouth feel. I also saw the kid who put my sandwich together pull pork off of my sandwich and put it into his mouth before handing me my sandwich. The mac and cheese was edible, but tasted like frozen mac and cheese that was heated up. Being from a BBQ town I'm usually hesitant to try BBQ up north and this experience definitely didn't help.

My wife and I ate at the Binge BBQ food truck at Newport Folk on Saturday evening. We have both had diarrhea for 24 hours. That was our only meal of the day, and after reading the ex-employee's comments about pork sandwiches not being stored adequately, I have zero doubt that our sick stomachs are a result of choosing to eat at Binge BBQ. Of course this ruined our Sunday festival experience. We traveled all the way from Nashville. I can tell you that you won't stay in the BBQ business for long in Tennessee if your product makes people sick. It was also dry and didn't taste good. Beware.

I got a pulled pork sandwich from binge bbq yesterday at a food truck event, it was so disappointing. $15 for a flavorless and dry sandwich.

You just catered my company party today. The food was the best I've ever tasted. Amazing brisket ❤️

Too expensive, ribs dry and not much meat, a tablespoon of cole slaw at most.

Clearly the only BBQ place around and a winner!Drop by and enjoy a meal outside.Only weakness are the sides with the baked beans being the best of them

I should have went here Hungry! Food was Excellent! A true BBQ joint that knows what they are doing! Awesome job.Brisket and Ribs came out glistening and smelling incredible. Ribs were long and a great amount of meat still on them. Good amount of rub that gave them a sexy sweet red coating. Not quite a dry rib because they glaze it with the sauce a little bit but it's not like a New England style slathered in sauce. More like a gentle artistic brush of a great sauce that still cooks into the meat after they take it out of the smoker. Pork flavor was still there, sauce didn't overpower it, and the meat was Super juicy. Some of the best Ribs I've ever had. Brisket was nice, soft, and moist with a great looking bark to it. I gotta say though I was hoping for a little bit more smokey flavor in the Brisket. It was a good flavor of beef but I'd say if you were doing a blind taste test and had to eat this you might think at first its a decent cut of steak. Brisket tends to jump all over the place as far as what it's supposed to be. Binge likes it soft and juicy with not too much rub that overpowers the meat. Big slices too. Kind of gives that muddy texture in your mouth when you eat it, still very good.Baked Beans had something special going on. They weren't sweet but leaning a little more towards a spice flavor but the spice isn't distinct. More and more I ate them the hot spice kick kept rising. I could taste and see plenty of black pepper but that definitely wasn't the spice doing all the fun stuff. It's what I like to call a "Fun Spice" when the spice is a heat type but it always dances on that line of zing to painful and you can still taste it as if the sweet receptors in your tongue are firing off but there is no sweetness to it. Beans were cooked perfectly, bits of pork in the mix, gravy wasn't too runny. No mac and cheese here but they do have "Mac and Cheese Croquettes" (Fried Mac and Cheese balls) Really good, bit salty though. Dip it in the sriracha sauce it becomes magic. But yeah, watch out for that saltiness, it's pretty powerful.Asked if they happened to have any desserts and they told me the closest thing they had was a sweet potato fries with a honey yogurt dipping sauce. Fries were homemade and decent and seasoned. That sauce though was magical. Kind of reminded me of the flavor of Ambrosia. Consistency is like a honey mustard sauce but it was a cool texture in the mouth. Try it.They had quite a few sauces to choose from but they all looked more like typical condiments. But they did have "White BBQ" which to me meant these guys know about Alabama BBQ. So I asked for a little bit of that because I'm not terribly familiar with it, it's been crazy different everywhere I go. This was pretty much a dill flavored sour cream, not sure if they were trying to do Alabama style. Not convinced yet.Their Sweet Sauce though! This Is REAL BBQ SAUCE! There is Very few places in New England (The North for that matter) where you can get the Real Deal! Apple Cider Vinegar based, Sweet, Loaded with Spices, Very Very Amazing Sauce. Ribs didn't need it though but a pile of pulled pork smothered with this stuff will make you think you've gone to heaven. No homemade sweet tea because of Covid .... I can't for the life of me understand that but okay.

We finally ate here after walking and driving by it many times over the past year. There's not many good BBQ places in RI, but we enjoyed this one! We got the choose 2 meats, 2 sides and comes with corn bread. Brisket is good and the meal comes with homemade BBQ sauce(more like carolina style). I loved the fries and beans! We want to come back and try more!

Really good food that we got takeout tonight. Had the pulled pork and turkey. Both with really great Smokey flavor. Wife had the fried chicken sandwich and said it was one of the best she has ever had. I don't love the bbq sauce they use because I prefer a sweet sauce but the service was really good and the guy behind the counter was really friendly so they keep the coveted five star rating. Tricky street parking.

Four of us grabbed appetizers to go as a snack. We went with the BBQ cheese fries, BBQ mac and cheese croquettes, and the cornbread. Everything hit the spot. I regret not going with one of the meats as an "appetizer." Therefore, I feel my review should only be taken as a partial. The glimpses of the BBQ bits we got in the apps were delicious, tender, and flavorful. Each app came with a cup of dipping sauce. For the cornbread "nuggets," the cup was full of melted maple butter. Mmmmmm. The fries were still crispy and delicious even though they were covered in meat, sauce, and cheese.I agree with the other reviews in that the portions were kind of small. Although a snack, we could have done with another appetizer for the four of us. For that night, it all worked out though because we stuffed ourselves at dinner. Anyway, I definitely recommend a stop and I myself will be making another the next time I am in the area.

I've only begun hitting up Binge in the time of COVID here, but after numerous visits (take-out orders) I'm confident in saying this is some of the best BBQ in the state. Can't speak to the dining experience, since I've never dined in. They do have a nice outdoor seating area on the sidewalk, which is nice. Binge is a lunch go-to for me when I'm at work. I typically place my order, get there in a little less than 10 minutes and my food is always waiting for me. I've tried a good potion of the menu and EVERYTHING is bomb. From the brisket, pork belly and pulled pork, to the fried chicken sandwich and chopped brisket sandwich, all the way down to the freakin' coleslaw. And not bomb in a sense of "oh wow, for a BBQ place in New England this is pretty good" but bomb in a sense of "this place can hang with BBQ places down south" type of good. Also, I'm absolutely CONVINCED that the mac and cheese croquettes have some drugs sprinkled on them because those are some of the best damn things I've tasted in recent memory.

Growing up near Kansas City I have had more than my share of BBQ over the years. It is something that New England just has not been able to compete with. Thankfully Binge is one of the exceptions for good BBQ. I was able to try their ribs at a recent food truck event. As much as I love ribs, it is nearly impossible to find a place in New England that can cook them right. Binge did it right. Fall off the bone tender, right amount of smoke and flavor, and just enough sauce to make them pop.I also was able to try their mac and cheese cróquets. Delicious crispy treats filled with ooey gooey mac and cheese! The only reason they were docked a star is that they were lacking a meal factor at the food truck. Please bring on the beans and cornbread! I will likely be able to update the review to five stars when I make it to their sit down restaurant.
