Passing through Wakefield and happened upon Mew's Tavern, glad we did! Maxwell G provided excellent service. I am gluten intolerant and he took the time to go over a few items on the menu, made suggestions and made sure I understood the sauces had gluten in them. Sometimes it is a struggle to dine out but he made it so much easier. The pulled pork and brisket were excellent.
Just come and eat here, you can't go wrong.
Wonderful atmosphere and really good food. The wings are 10/10 (I like the smoked ones since I'm gf and can't do the breading with their original ones.)
