The food was great but took forever to get and the service was lacking. It was a busy Saturday evening, so it might just have been timing. Would try again if in the neighborhood.

We had a wonderful day exploring local landmarks and reminiscing about college days on our day trip the other day. We decided to check out an old favorite eatery, The Italian Village. The location was taken over by Tavern on Main, we were excited to give it a try and recall memories we had in this location. We were greeted kindly and brought to a comfortable table quite quickly. The menu appeared mostly pub fare but we were hopeful for good food and service. Our waiter seemed nice but took quite some time to acknowledge our presence. Drinks were delivered, my husband’s soda was heavily watered down. Our waiter never checked in on us and when our food was finally delivered (by someone other than our waiter) we were left no choice but to request a new drink and ketchup for our fries of her. This young lady made it very clear she was annoyed by our requests. Our food was ok, edible, but what was truly disappointing was the lack of service. It seemed a manager was doing most of the work with lots of workers milling around not doing much. Hopefully you can take this statement as constructive criticism and make some positive improvements, especially in the area of service. We wish you well!
Loved the banana brioche pudding and the crab cakes! Parking was kind of a pain; if you have a longer or larger vehicle, the parking behind the building is not going to be your friend.
Parking: Parking behind the building for maybe 6 or so vehicles. It is very tight, and if one person does not center themselves in their spot, it throws everyone off. I had a difficult time getting my 4Runner in and out due to how narrow the aisle is.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a tavern; we did not see high chairs and all tables are bar height. There are booths.
Wheelchair accessibility: Did not see any ramps, but outdoor dining is available. Each entrance has 3-4 steps to get into the building.

Despite having open tables when we arrived we still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was charming and our server was great. However the food was just average and the portions were far from generous for what they were charging. Great atmosphere to stop by and have a drink and appetizer.

Would have been nice for them to update their hours online before we drove 30 minutes to try a new spot and see a sign that says they’re no longer open on Sundays. I have now updated it so others don’t make the same mistake, but this is the kind of thing businesses need to stay on top of. Such a disappointment and waste of time.
Our experience for early dinner on Friday was very positive, we sat outside and loved the patio. Started with the crab cakes which were crispy and beautifully plated although served cool rather than hot. In fact, that's honestly our only complaint and it's minor, our Steak Ftîtes entrees were cooked perfectly to order with the steak arriving medium rare, which is something we don't see often. But also everything on the plate was cool rather than hot.

I cannot confirm, but everything tasted like it was frozen, and for the cost, I didn’t think that should be the situation. Service was OK. if I was a server and I saw somebody take a bite or two of a sandwich, I probably would have taken it off a bill, but the server did ask if we wanted more to drink and was attentive. The one redeeming quality is that Brickley’s is right down the road. I can’t imagine with places like Purslane down the street, this place lasts much longer than seven years it’s already been open.
4.4 stars is WILD. This place is awful. Everything is frozen. Kids Mac is Kraft. The crab cakes are like cat food. Even the fries are bad. Woof.

very Disappointed- I ordered Chicken Parm: Doubt it ever touched a chicken- a chopped (?) fried patty over cool pasta- the other person's seafood dinner was quite good. Nothing extra came with the dinner: rolls, condiments. Prices are too high for the meals

I went in there with a few friends for some drinks and lemme tell you. The bartender they have, I believe her name is eve. She's such a joy!!! Her energy and her attitude literally bring the best out of that place!!! Her drinks were delicious and her customer service is one very big reason I'll be back! Food was good overall. I'll definitely be making this a frequent stop as long as she's behind the bar!!!! Great find Tavern

We gave this place multiple chances, but our experience was consistently disappointing. The service was terrible, with the manager being the only one working. He had to make the drinks, bring out the appetizers, and serve our meals. We ordered three appetizers—chicken wings, mussels, and tater tots—which arrived before our drinks. Our waitress did nothing to help and was too afraid to bring the two drinks that required smoke, so they sat and got watered down until the manager could bring them. This meant we couldn’t toast the birthday boy, with a 10-minute wait between each drink being brought to the table.
For a party of five, the drinks, appetizers, and meals were served as if we ordered at different times, piecemeal. No one received their food together, and since it was a birthday celebration, we all waited to eat. My broccoli was ice-cold, like it had just come out of the freezer. The wait staff was not attentive at all. The bill was expensive for such mid to low-level service. We should have gone to the Homestead, where the food is similar in quality but better priced, and the service and drinks are worth it. As a local, I won’t be heading back there. Why am I up at 3 AM? Because I got sick after eating the shrimp and haven’t been able to sleep.

I really liked this place after a nice beach day. I got the main burger with a side of cheese tater tots. Tater tots were alright although, I should’ve opted for some fries I think! Just my preference they were still good! Everything was fine nonetheless! Service was great, everyone was so nice. Bathroom is very clean. ?

Not so impressed with food. Sodas flat. Took so long to bring it that we were all done and still soda machine not ready, just asked for bill and left.
