Great vibe and food! Love this as an add to the Main Street area. Owned by a local couple and worth a try! I haven't been since they got their liquor license but I will be going soon now that the tourist traffic is winding down. Seems like a natural place to have a drink and app while waiting for a table at Purslane.
Absolutely incredible selection of cheeses, great little spot, super friendly and knowledgeable owner, and lots of different drinks to choose from!
We bought 2 cheese boards, all of them were fantastic, from the world- winning brie to the blue. Superb atmosphere, and the owner was friendly and knowledgeable.
Excellent food and beverages. A nice variety of cheeses. Terrific eclectic cafe Not disappointed - we'll be back!!!
Fun, interesting, eclectic cafe. Enjoyed the experience.
Went with a friend for lunch and a drink and it was only ok! Cute retail shop and beautiful atmosphere. But the food and drinks were only so so.
This little cheese and crepe shop is a gem. Delicious crepes, unique gifts and fabulous selection of cheeses. Kevin and Kristina, welcoming couple-owners!
Awesome cheese shop. Killer vegan chili. Great vibe. 5* for these rockstars

Love The Gathering Table! It’s a welcome addition to Wakefield. The owners are fantastic people who serve up kindness and great cheeses as well. The grass fed milk cheese Tomme aux Fleurs is my personal favorite with it’s complex flavors. I’ve brought that cheese to dinner parties and served it as an appetizer whenever my wife and I entertain. It’s a big hit which is why it’s my go-to cheese. They make an excellent crepe there too. Definitely give this place a try because the food and service are both outstanding.
An adorable shop with Victorian accents. The crepes were delicious. We had the Reunion of fig spread, Brie and sliced green apple; the Picnic of sliced ham, baby arugula, apricot preserves, and Gruyère; and shared the Affair of strawberry preserves, Nutella and whipped cream. All were outstanding. I will definitely be back.
Delicious crepes and coffee
The fennel, kale and bean soup was fantastic. All fresh ingredients and the flavor subtle and balanced. You can feel the passion and expertise of the owners, as the cheese selection and decor were on point. I felt like I was in Paris by way of Wakefield.
Thank you for a next level experience!!! 😊
Stopped in during Octoberfest 2024 and will definitely be returning! We were greeted by the owner, Kevin, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful! He was excited to share his knowledge of cheese and the other offerings in his adorable shop! We tasted a few AMAZING cheeses and left with all the fixings for a delicious charcuterie board, tasty flavored coffees for the rest of our adventures through town, as well as a few recommendations for places to visit, including places to stay over at, during our next visit to the area! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area, or adding it to your 'places to go' on one of these beautiful Fall, New England afternoons! Their delicious looking crepes, as well as another great coffee, are in the plans for our next visit - and I'll never leave the shop without more cheese! ? (*we sampled some 'challerhocker' cheese, which Kevin highly recommended' we were not disappointed! I'm now obsessed with it, can't wait to get more!!) The Gathering Table is worth your time!
