Haven't eaten here in years basically because of our bad past experiences. The fry smell still hasn't been addressed. The service was ok, can't fault the waitress too much when they are doing double duty as their own bartenders. Ordered the mozzarella sticks, obviously frozen. Clam cakes weren't round, they resembled more of a pancake, flat and greasy. Anyone who says the food is good here I would like to know what restaurants they think are bad. Certainly not a quiet date place. Loud and everyone is packed in. Tables and barstools are all on top of each other. So many better options in Warren.

4 of us ate there last night. Service was awful. Waited over an hour for our food. When it finally came, clam chowder was cold, clam cakes were not fully cooked, food was awful.Never going back!!!

We have been here several times and always have had a good meal. Service has been slow at times but not enough to keep us from returning. But last night was bad. We stopped in for dinner. Nice host greeted us and said to sit at any table. The booths were full and there were two tables of two. The bar had three people. For the first 5 minutes no one gave us a menu. We continued to wait. One waitress walked by us, looked at us and never even acknowledged us. Eight minutes in no one came to the table, no menus...nothing. The same waitress walked by three times - no acknowledgment whatsoever. The party of two behind us, who at least had menus, said they got seated about three minutes before we did. They had no drinks, not even water, and were still waiting to place their order. Just an acknowledgment of "hey, thanks for your patience or we are short staffed but I'll be with you in a few minutes" would have set a better tone. Most guests aren't unreasonable but to ignore your guests? Nope. And then expect a tip? Nope. With so many choices in the East Bay, Admiral Pub is nothing special and will now be off the list.

What a lovely little find! Beth was a fantastic server - super friendly and very kind. We stopped in for drinks only, so I can't speak to the food, but the drinks were great and there was a large selection. The place itself is very homely and welcoming. I look forward to coming back soon for dinner!

Superb pub grub can always be found at this chef-owned, casual, authentic AND affordable local gem. Its burgers, seafood dishes, and pasta staples won't disappoint. For real neighborhood atmosphere with a welcoming feel, this is where to go on Water Street.

I went for the 1st time for a surprise Birthday party. The eggplant pizza was absolutely amazing! Best pizza I've ever had. Super good!!!

This place is awesome. Sneakyyy good. Very unassuming. Food was great, staff was great. Love the feel of a family run pub. Very UK feeling. No fireworks here though... leave your snootyness at the door. This place is down to earth, talk to your neighbors at the bar, blue color type place. We live close by and can't believe it took us 6 months to try. Don't make the same mistake as us!

As a visitor to Warren we were taken to The Admiral Pub by friends. Nice atmosphere but 5 meals were ordered and only one of these was satisfactory. Chicken and fries greatly overcooked, one meal missing ingredients.When about to order dessert told that none were left.When about to order coffee told coffee machine was broken.Very disappointing meal. Will not be returning.

Great pub food and creative specials. Ok beer and wine selections. The servers are friendly and accommodating but patience is expected from the customers at times depending on how busy it is. There is off-street parking. Reservations would be a good idea.
