Absolute gem of a place. The atmosphere is so cute and homey. The antique dishes were a standout. I wish more places used dishes like this. The dilly beans are to absolutely die for. I think about them at least once a week. I loved them so much I asked for a container to go in order to eat them throughout the week. I just looked at their menu and I think they used to be cheaper, however everything has gone up in price lately and they are seriously worth every penny. I really want the recipe for them. We also had the chicken sandwich which was really good and the drop biscuits with hot honey were amazing. I could've passed on the smoked chicken wings, honestly. I can't tell if they were not the best or just paled in comparison with all of the other delicious food we had. Regardless, it was still a 5 star dining experience. The service was great and I cannot wait to return once they are back from their well deserved winter break!

Squash flower and pickled green beans was delicious . Pasta was ok since I'm not really a big fan of squash or pumpkin , codfish is highly highly recommended .Would love to have more vegetarian option.

We had an anniversary-date night worthy dinner--and it wasn't even our anniversary! Other reviewers are completely correct about the amazing service. We had Colleen as our server and she was wonderful from start to finish! The food was perfection, starting with the biscuits, which should be illegal because they taste too damn good--flakey and butter and melt in your mouth divine. The other appetizer was a special; I can't remember the name but it was an onion blossom-type app but with mushroom instead of onion: OMG. I know that might not sound special, but it was unreal. Fried crispy on the outside and tender mushroom on the inside--just the type of snack that might make you ruin the rest of your dinner, you know? But we kept going with the burger, which was perfectly smashed and cheesy with a great side salad that seemed so simple but had a lovely, tangy citrus vinaigrette. The pork chop was out of this world and made me so jealous (my wife ordered it), but she did share a few bites, so that was kind. I had a delicious mule with vodka and ginger beer, and we were so satisfied we had to (sadly) skip dessert. Next time we will try something for sure! Warren is a sweet little town, but this restaurant is hands down THE BEST reason to visit Warren, RI. Can't wait to return soon!

Favorite place in the Barrington, Warren and Bristol area. Food is delicious. Service is very attentive. Ambiance and music is very comfortable. Try the fried chicken! Awesome. Drop biscuits are delicious and a must. The prices are very reasonable. Open on Mondays but not Tuesdays.

I always get the chicken sandwich and fries but have recently disappointed with the food quality and proportions. They advertise (and used to have) chicken that was massive but now it’s rarely bigger than the bun. The fries went from a potato wedges to thin crinkle, but the price has stayed the same. Feels like I’m getting jipped and each time I order out there’s less and less.

I went in as a party of one and ordered the Hunky Burger. Gotta say, it was very, very good and on top of that it was two smash burger patties (they don’t mention that on the menu)! Super, duper tasty.When you go in, ask for Ella. She’s super friendly, yet professional, all the while being super knowledgeable and personable. Ella is awesome!I sat out back, which is a nice way to enjoy the evening. It’s a quaint lil area of about 5-7 picnic benches that have more than enough room to be comfortable. My only feedback would be to invest in some mosquito traps; tonight there wasn’t any wind so I ended up with (only a few) bites, because they offered insect repellent, which I thought was really nice.Besides Ella and the burger itself, I was super impressed by how quickly the food came out. I was looking for a quick meal, and boy, I think I was in and out of the restaurant in 20 minutes!Overall, I’d highly recommend!

I'm always a little skeptical of highly rated restaurants. Is it really that good? At Hunky Dory, I can confidently and excitedly share it is indeed that good.The food was exceptional and the service somehow even better! We ordered drinks, the country ham as an appetizer and for the main course - the grilled BBQ fish and fried chicken.The fish was so beautifully plated, a mix of colors, flavors and textures all perfectly cooked. The fried chicken was everything you want fried chicken to be, hot, crispy, juicy and flavorful despite a good allergy which reduced the chefs options for spices.They were friendly, accommodating and fantastic. Special thanks to Colleen our wonderful waitress and the kitchen staff for working around our allergies!!!!
