If I could give a zero I would!!! I ordered a child’s chicken tenders and fries for my youngest son, and a regular order of chicken tenders and fries for my oldest, as part of my take out order tonight. The bag was tied in plastic bags when I got it, so I did not open it. I went home and found popcorn chicken and chicken wings. I live very close so we went back with the food to tell them it was wrong (was literally 5 minutes later). They refused to take the food back or give us what we actually ordered!!!! We had to order a second order of chicken tenders which I did not want to do, but had to, because my child would only eat tenders not wings, and I did not have time to go to another place!!! I will NEVER be back!

We drive by this place all the time, and it never looks like they are open. On a whim, we decided to stop in and have dinner. We were the only ones in there but the server was really attentive and friendly. I got the steak sandwich which wasn't anything special. It didn't have much of a Portuguese steak sandwich flavor but for a steak sandwich, it was fine. My husband absolutely loved the chicken. No negatives, would 100% eat that again. I don't think people should be dissuaded from going just because the parking lot is empty. It's really clean inside and has a nice seating area. Definitely get the chicken.

Just ordered for the first time and the food was horrible. The rice was undercooked and crunchy. The shrimp was rubbery and smelled rancid. The buffalo wings were still pink on the inside. We are very disappointed and won't be going back.
The food was horrible. The seafood rice was inedible. The carne alentejana was awful, the potatoes were mush and the pork was dry. The yellow rice was bland. The only thing that was eaten was the chicken which my husband enjoyed. I do have to mention we went in around 735pm so I'm not sure if the food was old and sitting there all day but I have no desire to go back and see if during a busier time it's any better. I must say the young lady working behind the counter was very friendly and personable. The service she provided was excellent. Too bad the food was subpar.

Well this is specifically for the owners of Mr Chicken. We went to Mr Chicken right after restaurants were able to open their doors to the public after Covid, however your restaurant did not allow seating just take out. It was very pleasant inside and we would have loved to sit inside. Time went by and we rarely saw cars there. If I don’t see cars we figure something is wrong. Why are your reviews all over the place. Some good others awful. Are you not consistent with the quality of your food? You need to do better I wish you well but there are many other really good Portuguese restaurants in Fall River and the distance is not far from your restaurant. I really hope you start getting great reviews maybe we’d try you again. Good luck

This place slaps. Just the basic chicken with sauce was 10/10. The potatoes were perfectly cooked too. Dessert pudding was awesome too. Very excited to come back.

I had my retirement party there Sunday. The food was amazing, the service was top line, the owner was very accommodating when planning my event and very visible and available through out the party.

Wow,where do I start.friday night at 6pm,1 table of customers.red flag for me.order stuffie and portuguese soup,both are luke warm.stuffie has nothing in it.no chourico no clams.awful.ordered pork and clams,the clams were cockuls,size of a quarter and no meat!! Wife gets cod and potatoes,floating in oil and loaded with bones.they say they are portuguese restuarant but I've been to plenty,the are not even close to a good quality port. Restuarant. Sorry wont see us again.and time hire waitress with some kinda experience. She looked lost.

The French fries tasted like cleaner. I was told by waitress it had to do with them changing the oil in vats. Um no. The food here is horrible!!!! Absolutely disgusting. They didn't even offer half off the price of the food. Will NOT be back!

First time there so I'm expecting chicken dishes as their name is Mr Chicken. Nope. Just a few. My friend and I ordered the half chicken which was beyond cooked and it looked nothing like half a chicken. There was no breast meat. The whole thing was 2 inches by 5 inches at best to give you an idea of size. Also, it definitely wasn't made that day. I cannot stress how utterly dry this chicken was. We asked what the "special sauce" on the chicken was. Our waitress, i think her name was Jessica who was super sweet and nice, said I'll give you some to try before ordering it. Ok great..Then we were charged for that sauce..what?? The pork and clams had barely any sauce and the "clams" were the size of a dime. You didn't even know you were eating them. Very disappointing. We didn't get drinks, btw.. Now i understand why I never see cars in the lot..

My family and I come here every weekend and the food is amazing ? this place is absolutely beautiful on the inside and the people are so friendly I would definitely recommend coming here with your family or even coming for a date night with your significant other!
