Delightful, relaxed, delicious. I was transported back in time to a B&B in the Cotswolds. No pretenses, no frilliness, but a lovely simple way to connect and catch up with a friend while enjoying homemade treats. Well done!

My husband and I have been to many tea rooms for afternoon tea and Tatters is by far the best! We cannot wait to go back again. Highly recommend.

A wonderful experience I will never forget! The offerings were amazing. The atmosphere was so inviting and cozy. A wonderful friendly hostess too! Such a beautiful shop with beautifully handcrafted treasures by a very talented artist. I can't wait to visit this hidden treasure again! Just remember to leave lots of room for the scones!

Lovely experience in a quirky atmosphere. I was delighted to find out there was even a gluten free option. This was an authentic English afternoon tea, Not the fairytail American version.

This is an incredibly unique place for tea, impossible to compare it to anything I’ve experienced locally. The simplicity of it is deceiving, a little tea, a few pastries and some finger sandwiches. But I went with a group of friends and it was such a creative experience for all of us on so many levels. Old church= check! Funky artsy boutique= check! Anecdotes, education about tea culture,, and humor from the host= check! We enjoyed traditional black tea served from an actual pot, in delightful but not at all dainty teacups… literally homemade everything, perfect balance of sweet and savory treats, and all vegetarian friendly too. The environment alone inspires fantastic conversations. I don’t know how long we stayed but at the end of the afternoon, it felt like we’d all gone on a weekend getaway to an imaginary place with a come as you are culture, where everything is creative, well thought out, and a little more special. I’ve been twice, I really love it. Leave your expectations at home and just let this place take you on an adventure.

I was really looking forward to this tea service, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The experience felt underwhelming from the start—only one tea option was available, which was surprising given past experiences elsewhere. The table wasn’t fully cleaned, with visible spots that made it feel less than polished. When I went to pick up the sugar container it was stuck to the table by something sticky. The environment was generally dingy & unkempt.

The food itself was mediocre at best, not justifying the $80 price tag for 2. Service was minimal—we were only spoken to once when the tea and food were delivered, which made the experience feel impersonal. For the cost, I expected more attention to detail and a more curated experience.

Overall, I wouldn’t return, I’ve been to a few other tea services & it usually feels much more professional & special.

Going to Tatters for tea is a wonderful event not to be missed out on! Carol is inviting with her welcome to Tatters. The scones are wonderful! If you opt for more, the finger sandwiches and sweets are delectable! Because of the table setup you can enjoy your own conversation! I highly recommend Tatters - it’s always a treat!

I went with some friends and had a lovely experience! Carol, the owner, greeted us and sat us down in a cozy corner. The space itself is unique -- it's an old church filled with Victorian clothes and accessories, all of which she makes! We were the only ones there (thanks to a reservation) and she let us be. Our table had dainty tea cups and our food consisted of finger sandwiches and desserts (which were fresh out of the oven). We honestly felt like we were on an episode of Downton Abbey! And that makes perfect sense as we learned Carol grew up in England and knows a thing or two about British high tea. So, this is the real deal! I highly recommend Tatters. You won't be disappointed.

Neat little place if you're into old victorian country style clothes and tea... and scones.
Small selection of tea, maybe just one type of scone, but it's nice.

To owner: Probably should play pleasing music and more scone selections? ❤️ ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜❤️

Was taken here as a treat by a friend. Very friendly service. There was so much food and such a variety that we were still snacking on left overs for days afterwards. The atmosphere in the converted church was unique and warm. Highly recommend Tatters for wonderful treat. Also found unique gifts in the extensive hand made clothing collection.
