Service was good, friendly and attentive staff. Food was ok. 1 or 2 things were good but others were questionable. That $33 bolognese was a disappointment, flavor was just not desirable and we ended up not eating the left overs but the crispy shrimp appetizer was fantastic. Hit or miss, it seems. We may try again but it will be a while.

We rented the upstairs for our wedding dinner and it was the perfect place to bring the family together. The food was excellent, we had a group of 35 and so many told us it was the best wedding dinner they’d ever had. Service was perfect and so friendly, the views are gorgeous, great atmosphere - very highly recommend!

Food was maybe a tad above average, portions were small. According to owner, you should ask if you want bread. Wish I had known - at ~$50/person for dinner, shared appetizer and drink, I went home to make a second meal. Other reviews seem more positive, so maybe I went on a bad day.

Trafford has always been a favorite of mine. The food is always excellent. The staff we encountered were friendly and personable. The view on the water is fabulous. 5 stars as always.

Tonight was a busy night and our server Emily was FANTASTIC in every way. I'm not sure if the blonde woman checking in on us was the manager or the owner but she was so lovely as well. The kitchen did a wonderful job and each dish was great. I had the roast beef & it was perfect. My friends had different seafood plates and enjoyed them. The topper was the chocolate peanut butter cake.

The bartender seemed overwhelmed keeping up with a busy restaurant. Other than that, highly recommend this top notch restaurant to everyone.

Just one of the best restaurants in the state. The view, the restaurant decor, the service, and of course, the food always make for an inviting experience.

Dropped in for lunch with friends and everything was perfect. The French onion soup is one of the best in the state. It has taste and a kick to it… most restaurants make it very basic and flavorless. The frontega chicken panini was superb- flavor in every bite.

Emily was our delightful server and made it a most excellent experience.

I asked for my servers name and she said to mention the one with the fun glasses. :)
I was here for the evening for a rehearsal dinner for my best friend. This server took phenomenal care of us. I worked many banquets and tables and know how chaotic it can be with large groups. She handled it like nothing. And was so kind I wish she could’ve joined us.
I hope she gets all the shifts she wants and helps to train any new staff because she’s the one to beat.
Thanks for taking care of us.

Really like this restaurant. We spoke with the owner, who was very present for dinner service, so nice to see. Our third time here and will be back again.

Stopped by Trafford's restaurant for a return visit, most recently for dinner. Went with the quahogs and I though they were excellent. Had the chowder and it was okay, not the greatest. A little watery, taste was off. I got the fish tacos and thought they were okay as well, not bad. Wife went with the honey chicken sandwich and it wasn't that great. Her expresso martini was okay as well. My last visit was for lunch. I Tried getting a bar seat, but the outdoor bar was full and they were having an event, so limited bar seating. Went with the Crab cakes for an appetizer and thought they were great. Had the cold mayo lobster roll. It was great as well. Upgraded to truffle fries and they were great as well.

An amazing place that has a very amazing view of the water too! Staff was super friendly and were able to accommodate well for the allergies in my party. The atmosphere was also great, it's a well kept place! Food was even better, I had a burger which was really good and everyone else in my party liked the food, I highly recommend this place as it will not disappoint!

Not bad, but for the money you want it to be something to talk about. Especially with all the other restaurants near by

Great experience. Lobster roll was the best I've had this year. Sat on the deck with the breeze and water view. Server was amazing as well. Ill be back, one of our local staples.
