We called at about 3:30 or 4 pm on a Friday for a reservation , we were told upfront that there is no need for reservations just walk in and we would be okay. We(had a toddler 2 year old ) went there at 6:45 ish - to find out that there is a 35 to 40 min wait time. Only seating people with reservations! This was not fair to us! Why would they say two different things . We basically left the place so mad and upset Zz

Just went to Chelos this weekend. First weekend open since closing for the “winter”. No wait time, very attentive waitress. Drinks are good, food wasgood. They have a new crab Rangoon dip that is amazing.

My wife and I stopped by on 4/20/24. We haven’t been to chelos in EG in many years so we thought it be nice to try again since we live near the water in south county. Our waitress was awesome, helpful and accommodating. Our issue was the food quality and consistency and the heavy up charge on food was outrageous. My wife and I first ordered the clam cakes for and appetizer, my wife the ordered the salmon dinner and I ordered bake scrod… the clam cakes came out with both meals, after taking about 20 minutes wait time and it was not busy.Unfortunately both meals were horrible, fish dishes were over cooked by the microwave, my baked scrod looked like they ran short of fish that was in the plate, both dishes lacked taste and presentation, prices were outrageous for these meals! Basic beers $7.50 and the tap was starting to get flat!!! Burgers $18 and most appetizers $18 and above, it’s truly taking advantage. If you’re going to ask this prices then at least step it up and provide five star food quality! This overall experience was truly a disappointment and unfortunately We will definitely never return to this chelos again and surely won’t recommend to anyone!

Nice place with nice atmosphere. I came for the buttah lobstah roll (got the double). The lobstah roll came very nicely prepared and a side. Kevin was our server and did a phenomenal job for us and added some laughs.

I just had my elopement celebration at The Waterfront this past Saturday, March 9th. I just wanted to thank every single person who worked that day and made it so perfect. From my initial request and communications with Beth and Summer, who went above and beyond and made everything stress free, to the setup of the beautiful room, the waitresses and bartender, the food, everything was just simply amazing! We cannot wait to have another party here!Thank you again!

Lovely waterfront restaurant with live music and great waterfront views! Went here with my family while we were visiting the Warwick area. We were looking for a casual seafood place to get dinner, and this place exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We sat outdoors in their massive backyard seating area. They had a band playing live music, which made the ambiance fantastic. The energy was so lively and there were even people dancing. For food, we ordered fish and chips, lobster mac and cheese, and shrimp scampi. Everything was really delicious, especially the mac & cheese. It came with large chunks of lobster which was a pleasant surprise. The fish & chips came with lots of fries and a massive piece of battered fish. The shrimp scampi tasted very fresh and not too heavy at all. Since we were seated outside and the area is huge, the service can be a bit chaotic and random. It won't be the most attentive service ever but they served our food in a timely manner and we were able to enjoy the great music and outdoor views while we waited. Highly recommend if you're looking for a dinner place in the area with amazing vibes!

I have been to other Chelo’s and they been great. We live an hour away and decided to try Chelo’s Waterfront. We had an amazing experience, my wife loved it, and she can’t eat fish. I had the red chowder that was awesome. The clam cakes my favorite were cooked perfect. What topped it off was
I’ve never been disappointed in the times I’ve visited here. I always eat outdoors and it’s such a lovely view and space. The live music can be a little loud, but still enjoyable.I usually order the shrimp scampi. It could have a little bit more flavor in my opinion, a little on the bland side, but with a little garlic or pepper added in (or whatever your taste is) it would be a hit! Came out hot, still was delicious to me. The side salad it came with was massive in itself, left full! And the strawberry daiquiri was the perfect amount of refreshing for the weather that day.Also not pictured, but the stuffed quahogs and clam cakes are also a yummy app!
