Daisy Jo's Hot Chicken & Biscuits

Been here several times. Service is great and the chicken and brisket are awesome! Every options for the side are delicious.

I loved the inside! Very casual setting and the food was made fresh. Very delicious.

I've been here 5-6 times now, you guys are PERFECT - please don't change. Amazing food and friendly staff. My only ask is that you please add brisket sides to the menu! I can't order it take out/grubhub because it's not on the menu (I get it every time- top notch).

Food made with care and pride. Served with a smile. Absolutely worth the wait, as southern comfort as food can get here in RI. Absolutely worth visiting. a 4 or 5 piece tender meal would be appreciated for us big guys! Aside from that fantastic. I will be returning for sure.

Had the Nashville chicken. It was great. Staff was great. Nice atmosphere inside. The chicken sandwich I had was made fresh and very crispy. I will definitely go back again. Only reason for the 4 stars is because the food took a long time coming out. I wish it would be a little faster because it's hard to go here for lunch on a 30 min time frame. But it was worth the wait.

This hidden gem, which just opened, is phenomenal. A nod to the cuisine of the south, with a northern flare. All of the chicken is made to order. And it is mouth watering beyond belief! The decor is homely, welcoming and warm. Staff is friendly and helpful. I will be a frequent flyer to this Airport Rd establishment. It is going to be interesting to see how they grow in the upcoming months. Advice to all. The negative feedback upon the reviews are unwarranted. This is a new business trying to figure things out. Give them a shot and make a decision yourself. Don't be detracted by what you read. This restaurant group has brought an excellent product to RI time and time again. I feel like they hit a home run on this one! Give them a shot!

The hard working team at Daisy Jo's does not disappoint! This is not your typical fast food establishment... it's fried chicken at its finest .... it's “classy” fried chicken :). Their chicken is made fresh and is not reheated to order. I enjoy the off menu cry baby sauce which is the closest to Nashville I've had locally. Their restaurant it clean and the staff is always friendly and well informed. We just enjoyed office catering by their team at our business and they knocked it out of the park!

This place is awesome! I got the howling hot fried chicken tenders with pimento mac and cheese, and a sac of potatoes for $8.99!! Everything was delicious and the employees were all very friendly. I love that they also had a beer and wine selection! I will definitely be coming here again!

Chicken was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I literally thought I was down in the deep south! Service was very good as well. They were also serving some Newport frozen lemonade which was also excellent. This is a must try destination, worth the drive from anywhere in RI and beyond.

Been meaning to try this. Stopped by quick. Friendly girl at register was helpful to explain menu for this newbie. Not impressed with sticky floor in dining area at 12 pm opening or the biscuits, but chicken, sauces, and baked beans were impressive for a fried chicken place. We'll be back.

If you haven't been to Daisy Jo's yet you are missing out on a true gem. The chicken is the best around. All the employees are friendly, professional, and just Awesome. The biscuits are delicious. Everything that I have had there is just amazing. Come down and check them out.

This place has some really good Chicken. I got the 3 tenders (middle of the road spicy) plate with a side of the pimento mac & cheese and biscuit with butter.

The flavors just we're not what they said. But biscuits are great.Well for being pretty new it's dirty and you kind of stick to the floor. No hand soap in restroom. Food mediocre at best.

For a new place it was pretty dirty, no hand soap in restroom and very sticky dirty floor. I ordered the 4 piece chicken with middle of the road sauce and got an overwhelming chili powder flavor. The sides were ok at best. My husband ordered the 4 piece Howlin hot and it had no spiciness at app. I did order the biscuit and loved it( Don't change) Drove from Westerly to try it. It's mediocre at best. I wish you the best of luck, it's just not for me.

Daisy Jo's chicken is quite tasty- it's got a nice complex flavor. The Mac and Cheese is hit or miss (sometimes creamy but other times watery). I'm a big fan of the pickled veggies and tater tots. The fried pickles are pretty good- but definitely not the best I've had.
