Cute little hole in the wall. I sat at the bar. Quick service. I had the Paloma margarita, ok I had 2 because they were yummy. I'd go back just for those.
Chips and salsa were status quo.
Im vegetarian so I ordered the Veggie Verde Buritto. One word. YUM.
100% going back. Lost a star on the atmosphere only because I don't remember any Mexican music playing but I could be wrong.

I loved El Tapatio Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, with that authentic Mexican flavor I enjoy so much. The service was outstanding—everyone was kind and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

I loved this restaurant until my 3rd visit - food has always been amazing, staff was always pleasant and so nice!Went today and I was told they weren't serving myself or my boyfriend- we have always ordered drinks and food, we may have stayed late one time on a "first date" and didn't realize the time, but were never repromanded or made to feel like we were in the wrong, until today. my boyfriend and I were very confused as to why we were not served drinks and food when we were about to order full meals 730pm. Be cautious about this restaurant you never know what kind of mood the manager is in, guess he was having a bad day! We enjoyed mexican elsewhere, would not recommend.

I work in the area and I wanted to go to this restaurant for quite some time and I finally did. Glad I went! The margaritas are fantastic and the flautas were amazing.! I think I’ll be a regular here….

The service here is always top tier. The management is very friendly. The food and drinks are always delicious, I highly recommend the Mariscos Jarochos.

Food portions were generous, the atmosphere was colorful yet quiet, and the service was exceptional. We were served complimentary nacho chips and individual dips (double dipping didn't matter here with your own cup of salsa!), which was fresh and tasty. I had a chicken burrito, which was fantastic. I was so overwhelmed with it that I forgot to take a picture.

Worst Mexican food around ! Worst Tamales I have ever had in Rhode Island save yourself the time and money .

Service was prompt and courteous, place has nice decor and a decent bar....I ordered a burrito chicken fajita to go and it was okay, but the chicken was literally the texture of wood, i was unable to chew the majority of it....probably won't be back

Hadn't been here in a while because we like to dine outside in the warm weather but it was better than I remember. The service was outstanding, the food was great and margaritas are very good. My partner had the coconut margarita and it was amazing.
