When my Mom, Aunty Mary and Nanny were alive....they would run errands and pay the bills usually on a Tuesday.....then stop and get soup and grilled cheese & Gregg's pickles and 🥧 pie....my mom's favorite was mile high lemon meringue, also mine
Comfort in the company, comfort in the familiar place, comfort in the warmth of the soup and time well spent.....a break deserved for each of them
