I have been coming here for over 20 years for the desserts alone, specifically the Death by Chocolate cake. It has been my own personal favorite and best chocolate cake I have ever had. Obviously loaded with chocolate from chips to frosting and absolutely soft and moist throughout. Used to be able to get thru a slice in a sitting, but so rich that it's worth savoring over a couple of sittings.... To be fair, there is a complete menu full of different pies, cakes and pastries...
This is a local staple that has been around for like ever... My wife is from the area. I have been here many times throughout the years before I met her.. The last time we went they ran out of pickles.. OMG that is one of the reasons why you go there besides the great atmosphere and the outstanding food. Can't wait to go back again
Not fancy, but a varied menu, excellent food, fresh and well made. They don't overwhelm you, and the meals are a great value.
