If you are going to make this be one of your 6 special plates...get this right. Homemade sauce or a great one. Cook the hash until it's fully cooked and give it some crunch on the outside. And lastly poach the eggs right. This is needed to give the whole Benedicts experience.... the runny egg yoke that's essential for the plate. And when you are going to do hash browns, which is AWESOME, make sure they are not all wet. My middle was actually wet. Not fried like great hash browns. Give them the crunch they need. Maybe I was there on an off day or it was later or something, but your so new you have to nail this stuff now. Because I want you to make it. I really do. I love breakfast places and we need a new, good one. It wasn't just my plate. Our pancakes (full stack) was flat not full, was spongy and had no plop of butter that YOU ALWAYS get on your pancakes. You were supposed to rub your own on. But the best part of the butter on pancakes is that it starts to melt from the kitchen making it spreadability perfect. This was just a spongy, flat stack with no body and no excitement. Your a breakfast place. You have to get pancakes right. These tasted more microwaved, or maybe even reheated. I am not saying they were please don't insinuate that. I am saying that's the taste they had. My daughter ordered a bacon plate and her toast was black and she had to scrape the burnt off with a knife. Again your too new to make these types of mistakes. On the plus side my daughters muffin was good and my other daughters wrap was a good value and she enjoyed it. Chalet I'm pulling for you. Get this stuff right and Ill come back. Until then, good luck my neighbor.

Was reading some reviews and following them on Facebook. Saw some of there post and had to eventually make a stop for breakfast. If you are searching for a delicious breakfast spot you definitely need to make it here. They are also open for lunch and dinner, they also have some tasty homemade desserts.

I LOVE Johnny’s Chalet! They have awesome breakfast and their lunch and dinner are amazing too. I usually choose a dish off of the specials menu and they’re always so delicious and creative. The service is always fantastic too. It’s a hidden gem.

The first time we went, the food was amazing. We went back and it was terrible. Avacado toast with chunks of grey, slimy avocados that had clearly been frozen and defrosted - my husbands sandwich had deli paper in the middle of it. Okay, bad days happen. Try again, the table was broken, when we asked to move the waitress told someone else they could sit at the broken table and “unlike others I know you won’t mind that it’s wobbly”. It’s not just wobbly, the top is about to fall off and you have to hold it in place. The hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was served broken and oily, and the cook served it themselves so they knew it was broken and served it. The hash was so greasy it was inedible. My husband ordered chicken and waffles and the only edible part was the chicken. I just paid and left the food on the table. We gave it a few attempts and it just kept getting worse.

First few times we ordered was good, last 2 times we ordered take out for breakfast and it was so salty. You should also update your Monday-Friday 2 eggs special to day dine in only.
In the last four weeks I've ordered the fish and chips three times. The first time was amazing! The second time the batter was soggy, and today the batter was under cooked and the fish was still raw inside. I couldn't even eat it. I don't think I will be ordering from Johnny's again. Sad because the first time I had their fish and chips it was so good and reminded me of my grandmother's fish.

Went to Johnny's for the first time after a failed attempt to go to my local diner... it was a good life choice. The server was prompt and attentive, the food was amazing and plentiful, the place was cute and comfortable. I got 2 eggs, homefries and sausage with hollandaise on the side and was very impressed with the flavor of everything. My friend got the hash Benedict and was similarly pleased with flavor and the amount of food one gets.I'm absolutely coming back. Also, the bakery counter is going to be dangerous to my waistline.Definitely give this place a shot if you've never been. A hidden gem!

Been here twice, first time it was great. Second time the home fries were barely cooked. And when I questioned the bill being more than what the menu said, the woman who was our waitress said she didn’t need my attitude, when no attitude was given. I drive from Virginia to MA and wanted to eat here again after my first experience. Now they will never get a nickel from me again. We waited 25 minutes to order, then 25 more to get our food and there were us and one other table there. I don’t mind waiting, I don’t even mind that the food wasn’t as good, but the attitude from this woman, was the breaking point.
