If I could rate more than five stars on service alone, I absolutely would. I came in an hour and a half before close, which can be a kind of crappy thing sometimes admittedly, working in food service previously I can understand . But I'd just gotten out of work and wanted some good food, which I was absolutely given.

I was greeted at the door by a really nice hostess, and Richard, my waiter who I had the time before, not only remembered me but gave me a very genuine greeting. I'd written a review about him in the longhorn survey, which he thanked me for, letting me know that he'd won a contest they'd been having regarding reviews. Which was absolutely deserved, he was attentive, kind, and delievered overall great service.

The food was awesome, my steak was cooked perfectly medium rare (which is a difficult thing for some places for some reason), my baked potato was great, and the Texas Tonion is literally my favorite thing on the menu!

And I feel like it's also necessary to mention, even as it was getting closer to close, when restaurants have a tendency to get a bit messy/cluttered, everyone was on top of keeping the place practically spotless! Tens across the board!! I don't usually write reviews but I was compelled mainly by the quality of service.

My family loves coming here for steak, especially with the Parmesan crust. Their chicken wings, as well as their complimentary bread are delicious as well!

Went 2 different days in one week recently different staff each time. The ladies we had were excellent very attentive can’t complain about the food came the way we ordered and was worth our money! Thank you for great service!

We stopped at Longhorn Steakhouse on Bald Hill Road today for lunch and the visit was nothing short of fantastic! Our server, Darren, provided us with outstanding service throughout our meal. He was super attentive, fun, friendly and we just adored him. He was very sweet and I’m sure my parents will visit again soon in hopes he is their server again.

No complaints with our food. It was all cooked perfectly and all very flavorful.

I highly recommend Longhorn Steakhouse on Bald Hill Road to anyone looking for great food and even better service. Thank you Darren for a fun dining experience! We look forward to another visit.

Mid range steak house, a little pricey but they have great stuffed mushrooms 1 star for atmosphere because we were seated right next to the kitchen.

The good and the bad:

The staff were friendly and attentive . That’s pretty much here for the good.

The bad:
The first thing I noticed when I was sat down was the extremely strong musky smell of wet dog . It’s pretty obvious whoever cleaned the booth was using old rags or old dirty water.

I open the menu to find dried and crusty food inside the pages

I ordered a fillet cooked medium, and I must say the cook on it was almost perfect …. But there was absolutely no flavor..
It’s obvious from the picture that the steak was not properly rested, and there was absolutely no seasoning on it . The mac & cheese was very dry with no salt or seasoning.
The mashed potatoes were barely warm, but dry and stiff . No seasoning on that either.

Aside from the correct temperature of the steak, the food was very lackluster, dry and underseasoned.

I’m not sure who’s rating this restaurant so high; maybe they are just people who don’t get out very much.

Overall, this was mediocre at best, not worth $50 and was a very forgettable experience.

The review may sound harsh, but this is 100% accurate compared to my dining experience there .

As cozy and as comfortable as it gets. Great ambiance, helpful and friendly staff, exclusive comfort food. Large portions. I had the pecan strawberry salad and a burger. Both excellent! Highly recommended!!
