Pictures of guests cover the walls, and memories fill the air.A well made and classic breakfast is exactly what you're looking for and exactly what you'll get when you order.I honestly don't have a single negative thing to say about this establishment.I used to go all the time with my grandmother as a child, and when I started going again 30 years later I found myself just as happy with the food as I was as a child.If you want breakfast in Warwick, then look no further.

My boyfriend and I visited here for the first time about a month ago, loved it and have been wanting to go back… this time it was a full house! Which is great. We got a seat super fast , we were acknowledged by Nick and the waitress, but she didn’t bring us menus or ask us what we wanted to drink UNTIL she saw some regulars sit behind us and served them their drinks first. Okay no biggie, but as the meal continues she doesn’t come around at all and when she does , it is right by us and to the two tables behind where she has a social hour. Multiple times we watched her not even acknowledge tables. We watched Nick bring drinks over to a table that was seated right next to the waitress who did not move or break from conversation. Twice Nick had asked if we needed coffee or anything & he brought us another item we ordered with him. Which is crazy considering he’s the chef … !!!!Needless to say, we understand wanting the interaction with guests but don’t single certain ones and make it apparent like that. We left very upset because of her service. We wanted to tip Nick instead since he served us more than she did, and was more hospitable!

I can't believe there are no recent reviews for this place, but perhaps it is a well kept secret. It shouldn't be, because this place is wonderful. Walk in the door and you're greeted by Nick and Ann (if I remember correctly). They are both welcoming and cheerful, giving the place a wonderful atmosphere. This spot made a great substitute for my usual breakfast spot (Lexi Lou's Place in Westport, MA) while I was staying with my father while my sister was away. I'm a creature of habit, so I got my usual ham and cheese omelette with some breakfast potatoes. While the potatoes were not quite as well done as I prefer, that absolutely a personal bias and there was nothing wrong with them. In fact, I didn't hesitate to eat them up! The egg white omelette was cooked to perfect all three times I was there, with a good amount of ham and cheese inside. The coffee was good, the service was good... it was just a great way to start the day. Thank you Nick and Joan's Place for making the out of town guy feel as welcomed as all the regulars that came in while I was there.

The best service ever! I came here for the first time with a kid I was watching, and as soon as we walked in they were friendly and attentive. Not long after our drinks being delivered, the kid starting shaking and covering her ears-she was overstimulated by the noise. We stepped outside and I asked for the food to go because I didn't want her to be uncomfortable. They immediately said no problem. While we were waiting outside for the food to be done, the owners, Nick and Joan, came to check on us. They then brought out a table and chairs for us so my kiddo could eat outside away from the noise. Such wonderful service that they did not have to do by any means.... Plus the food is delicious! I will absolutely come here again. The sweetest people ever

Great old school diner, with a lot of pride demonstrated in the place. Food was solid, service was great! The only detraction was the guy at the counter who was loudly arguing a certain propaganda news channel's untrue talking points--of course not the place's fault.
