Typical Tex-Mex food but it's pretty decent and I have no complaints. It can be noisy so it isn't a good place for dates or privacy, but it's good for families and groups. Their margaritas are pretty good, specially the flavored ones. Be wary that most of their dishes are over 1,000 calories! Their "health" menu averages around 700 cals. There aren't really any vegetarian options.

I dined after work by myself on 02/17/24 at approximately10pm. I was quickly greeted by Armen, who made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Armen is a very polite and friendly person who knows his job and menu. My Borderita drink was suggested by Armen, which was great. He brought me chips and salsa with my drink, which was nice, because I was hungry. I wanted variety, so I chose the Border Sampler, as it looked appealing. My food came quite quickly. Armen checked back a couple times to assure everything was perfect. He even signed me up for the rewards program and I got a free Cheesecake Chimmie for signing up. I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and especially the service. I will absolutely return to dine, but bringing friends next time. Armen is a great asset to your company and I hope you realize this and acknowledge him for being a great server. I will request him next time I visit and hope he is there to wait on us. I don't know why I've waited so long to check out On The Border, but I sure am happy I did.Sincerely,A happy customer ?

Came on a weeknight for dinner and they had good drink deals, also free chips and salsa is always nice. The shrimp that came with the fajitas I enjoyed, everything else was mediocre to me.

We drove 35 minutes today just to go to the On the Border in Warwick. We've been there several times and it's always great. It's a nice large restaurant with the look of a cantina inside. We were seated immediately and we had a great waiter. He was very knowledgeable, quick to take our orders and checked on us a couple of times while we were eating. We normally order the Borderita, which is made with reposado tequila. But I noticed the Barrel Aged Rita that's made with Anejo and wanted to try it. They were delicious too! And we both ordered the ground beef chimichanga, which was delicious as always. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Ate dinner here at 8pm. Service at the bar stunk. Bartender was too wrapped up in conversation to assist us and forced us to interject ourselves into her conversation to order. Never brought us water after asking 3 times. Oh and the best part. 6 hours after eating I got sicker than I have ever been in my life. I most certainly got food poisoning. I was in the bathroom non stop all day. I missed a flight to ATL for a business trip because of this place. I'd suggest never eating here unless you want to be poisoned and spend a day vomiting.

Fast casual Mexican, it's not bad but not something you'd brag about. But we were in the area, time was limited and our kid likes the chips so there we went.Kid-friendliness: Our son loves the place, the chips and salsa are great and there's plenty of room for high chairs and so on.
