I went to Trivia with a group of friends. The Trivia host was very nice but everything else was a mess. All three to four servers were equally covering all tables, which led to us being ignored multiple times, first when we sat down we waited at least 10 minutes for someone to come over, then again when we were ready to order food. We ordered two appetizers and waited over 20 minutes for them to come out. After waiting a long time for anyone to come over, we walked up to one of the waitresses who was not actively helping a table and asked if they could come over to us soon and she said she would follow us over immediately, but then never came over. We saw multiple rats outside and then one in the bathroom, the appetizers we received weren't great either. The drinks were okay, but after ordering a few beers and one mixed drink, we waited at least 10 minutes for it to come. We will not be returning.

SVI used to be one of my favorite spots. It’s been consistently good for a long time. Over the last year or so each experience seems to go further and further downhill. Tonight was the last straw unfortunately.
Walked in at 8:45 to several seats at the bar, which equals: NOT busy, for such a small place. Only one or two tables on the floor were taken, and just a handful of cars in the parking lot.
The bartender did not greet us, hand us menus, NOTHING. He proceeded the scan Keno tickets for five minutes while moving money to/from his wallet/register. Once he was done with this, he checked in with most everyone else at the bar (who had already been there) and still never even made eye contact with us.
We decided to leave and even then, it was like we weren’t there to begin with. The only people who took note were the other patrons who could tell what was happening.
As a side note this is the same bartender who “reserved” bar seats for some regulars on a $5 burger night one of the last times went there. Give me a f’n break.
In any case, I sadly would not recommend this place to anyone and we will spend our time and money elsewhere.

This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment my family and I arrived, we were met with cold, unwelcoming service. As people of color who speak multiple languages, it felt clear our presence was unwelcome, and the behavior of our server suggested underlying bias.
While a 35-minute wait for food is understandable, the service was unacceptable—plates and napkins were slammed onto the table, drinks took nearly 20 minutes to arrive, and it took over 30 minutes to get our bill, which included items we didn’t order. When we questioned the charges, we were met with hostility.
One server who assisted briefly was kind and professional—she was the only positive part of our visit and deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the overall experience was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and unacceptable.

Chicken tenders are the BEST. We come here specifically for them! They are marinated for twelve hours yum yum tender.
First time visiting, came from NJ for a wedding, spent 7 hours in traffic. The Moscow Mules were perfect, the food was excellent, and the service was great!

Great late day female bartender! The early afternoon/evening bartender was very rude after two sips of beer mistakenly spilled when I attempted to slide it to a closer area for him to reach! I apologized and he reacted in a rude way!! It’s a shame as I used to love this bar!! I used to bartend back in the day and if I responded like that I would’ve been fired! It takes a lot for me to post a negative response as I was in the field back in the day, and I respect that things happen and I did try to call and resolve the issue and still received a horrible response. And let me tell you the place was not busy at all at that point! We used to frequent this place back in the day from the 1990s on and it was amazing. Unfortunate that it’s changed so much.

Ordered take out and the food was burnt. The past 2 times the food has been burnt. I thought the first time was a fluke but a month later and here we are again. There won't be a 3rd. I took a pic of the chicken. The rest is in the trash
