Service was a bit slow considering I got there as soon as the doors opened. It was ten minutes before my waiter checked in for drinks and such. I dined alone, and noticed the couples were all waited on first lol. Friendly enough waiter and good food though.

$20 burger $40 lunch total for two without drinks is definitely on the boutique restaurant higher end. It was good, not sure if I would consider it pairing up to a bar atmosphere price wise

I had ordered the duck pot pie and it was delicious. Usually, when I order duck in restaurants , it is usually disappointing, dry and “chewy”. Not this! The duck was tender and flavorful and, although in a “pie” it was not just a single piece of duck swimming in gravy and veg. The top crust was perfection as was the presentation. Will go back!
Another great meal at The Shanty. Our waiter Sergio was outstanding, as usual, and the selections were delicious. Great job by all to make our visit a delightful experience!
Love, not like, the Shanty! We go 4-6 times a year, which is a lot for us. Best martinis and mixed drinks. Sociable waitstaff even while busy. You never feel unwelcome!

We've been trying to find the right casual dining experience since we moved to Warwick, and we found it at the shanty. The layout is great, but could best be described as cozy as it is a small restaurant. Therefore it can get loud when it's busy and it was busy on Friday night. Brian was our server and he was fantastic. Just added to a great experience that will command our return many times over.
Great neighborhood bar and restaurant. Staff friendly and efficient, always a pleasure to be here.
They really need to bring back the Lasagana... I'll be back when it's back on the menu!

Fave go to for my husband and I 🤍
We were looking for a new place to go for apps & salads. When we looked at several menus for restaurants in the general area, The Shanty stood out as having a number unique items that you don't see at many spots. The selections that we ordered were fantastic. We started splitting the steak bruschetta & the bacon & brussels salad w/ chicken. The shallot cream sauce on the bruschetta made the dish, complementing the steak perfectly. Instead of the usual crispy bacon that seen on most salads The Shanty uses rendered pork bellies that were cooked to perfection. Even though the first two items were plenty, I wanted to give the pork & pancakes a try. The tender pork pieces melted in your mouth & the pancake had a nice crispy exterior and delicious taste that was accentuated by kimchi & scallion aioli. This was our first time at The Shanty but definitely will not be our last. There are several more apps and entrees that also looked very interesting.

The mixed drinks were fantastic! Statler chicken and Korean beef were so good! Brian was welcoming, had a great knowledge of the menu and bar. He really made the experience great. We will be back!

Waiter was really friendly and accommodating. We ordered the potato confit and chorizo app and statler chicken entree. Both very good.
Each dish is inventive and unique, and they’ve got a plethora of options to choose from. Would highly recommend sharing the Burrata or the Bratwurst & Pretzel; on the former, the crispy soppressata tied the dish together and on the latter, the whole grain mustard and cheese paired incredibly well with the crispy pretzels and sausage. The mains were impressive as well— the TV dinner was a favorite. Definitely stop in if you’re in the area.

Food, drinks and service were all great, as usual. Always a good experience at The Shanty.
The food there is always amazing. Super menu and everything is done well. The staff are friendly and not annoyingly attentive. They were there when we needed them and not when we didn't. Be warned, if you're seated in the back, it can be super loud. Great for a large party looking to have fun, not so much a quiet date night space. You'd be better off sitting at the bar or one of their comfy booths We love it there. We go back often .
