Perfect place for a date night or to catch up with friends. The food is always great. The drinks are strong and their beer list is well curated. The brunch is great, too. Their menu changes seasonally and we love trying the new options.

Delicious!! We'll be back for the wings for sure! $14 for a gin n tonic (touch of rosemary simple is very nice) is a bit much but really, all very very good including service.
We had a girls night and everything was fantastic. I had the Bimbimbap and it was delicious. All the food and drinks were great. Our server was excellent. Only criticism is that the menu choices were limited
A great place for an eclectic experience! Great service, food and atmosphere! Our server was attentive but not intrusive. A quite experience for a relaxing night out!
Service was a bit slow considering I got there as soon as the doors opened. It was ten minutes before my waiter checked in for drinks and such. I dined alone, and noticed the couples were all waited on first lol. Friendly enough waiter and good food though.

$20 burger $40 lunch total for two without drinks is definitely on the boutique restaurant higher end. It was good, not sure if I would consider it pairing up to a bar atmosphere price wise

I had ordered the duck pot pie and it was delicious. Usually, when I order duck in restaurants , it is usually disappointing, dry and “chewy”. Not this! The duck was tender and flavorful and, although in a “pie” it was not just a single piece of duck swimming in gravy and veg. The top crust was perfection as was the presentation. Will go back!
Another great meal at The Shanty. Our waiter Sergio was outstanding, as usual, and the selections were delicious. Great job by all to make our visit a delightful experience!
Love, not like, the Shanty! We go 4-6 times a year, which is a lot for us. Best martinis and mixed drinks. Sociable waitstaff even while busy. You never feel unwelcome!

We've been trying to find the right casual dining experience since we moved to Warwick, and we found it at the shanty. The layout is great, but could best be described as cozy as it is a small restaurant. Therefore it can get loud when it's busy and it was busy on Friday night. Brian was our server and he was fantastic. Just added to a great experience that will command our return many times over.
Great neighborhood bar and restaurant. Staff friendly and efficient, always a pleasure to be here.
They really need to bring back the Lasagana... I'll be back when it's back on the menu!

Fave go to for my husband and I 🤍
We were looking for a new place to go for apps & salads. When we looked at several menus for restaurants in the general area, The Shanty stood out as having a number unique items that you don't see at many spots. The selections that we ordered were fantastic. We started splitting the steak bruschetta & the bacon & brussels salad w/ chicken. The shallot cream sauce on the bruschetta made the dish, complementing the steak perfectly. Instead of the usual crispy bacon that seen on most salads The Shanty uses rendered pork bellies that were cooked to perfection. Even though the first two items were plenty, I wanted to give the pork & pancakes a try. The tender pork pieces melted in your mouth & the pancake had a nice crispy exterior and delicious taste that was accentuated by kimchi & scallion aioli. This was our first time at The Shanty but definitely will not be our last. There are several more apps and entrees that also looked very interesting.
