Found this place looking online. It was absolutely perfect. Server recommended the fish fry. The piece of fish was so large that I had to ask for a separate plate. The fish was delicious. Service was perfect. It was easy to find. If I’m ever in the area, I will definitely come back.

Best local food around and a menu for GF too. Feels like a remote cabin restaurant with a great comfortable vibe. Great menu and lbreakfest. Highly recommend the loaded Bloody Mary with shrimp and bacon! Love the lighting and the bar. Seasonal menu that changes. The big ol burger and the fish and chips are amazing. Drunkin muscles too. Limited parking. Can check out Chelos on the water just down the street afterwards for some live outdoor music. Great location.

My husband and I ordered the pretzel w/ the sausage and that was pretty good, but greasy. My husband ordered the ribs w/ the Coca Cola bbq sauce and the meal looked unappealing. The bbq sauce tasted like chili, the potato wedges were undercooked, and my husband returned it. They offered to make him something else, but he lost his appetite by that point. My meal was the green curry, I added chicken and shrimp, and it had vegetables w/ a nice light sauce. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

I love their brunch and this was the first time having dinner. The soup of the day, mushroom, was flavorful and delicious without being too rich. Loved their take on bratwurst and pretzel appetizer. The seared tuna pad Thai was unique and so yummy too. Love how all the waitstaff help each other seamlessly. Very attentive.

We had dinner at The Shanty the other night and really enjoyed the experience. Our server was quirky in the best way—fun, attentive, and genuinely delightful. The food was above average across the board, with fresh ingredients and creative flavors that made it more than just a casual bite. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, making it a great spot for a relaxed, upbeat dinner.

What a great local restaurant using all fresh ingredients and seafood. The green curry is to die for and the jamaican egg rolls were seasoned to the max and such a great combination. We also had the gazpacho as a starter and was delicious. If you are in the area, highly recommend eating here!
