I was very disappointed in the customer service I received from this establishment. I was trying to book a luncheon from woman all over New England from Ri to upstate NY to NH and Maine letting them know what a great esthetic this restaurant had and how wonderful it is. Enter Jacquline the what I was told was the event coordinator that I had to email because they didn’t take my reservation over the phone. No problem, email was sent I didn’t hear back so I called the next day and got a young man who told me to “show some patience” and that Jacquline “is very busy” to busy to write down a reservation or read an email apparently. He informed me snarkily that she was also the general manager. There was no way of me knowing that. Three days later still haven’t heard back from her but the young man took my name so I’m assuming they are clicky and purposely didn’t respond to me. Sorry but I had 20 women trying to plan flights and hotels waiting on hearing back to put in a reservation but that response never came. If you’re too busy for good customer service and now having women from all over New England saying they don’t want to go there because of their poor customer service that is a big hit on your establishment. I hope the owner sees this and understands we will never be back there again because obviously the young man who answered the phone does not know how to deal with the public. Telling a guest to show some patience is not the correct response to someone trying to reserve a luncheon for 20 people. We found another establishment who was informative responded immediately and is happy to accommodate all of our needs! See ya Tree House Tavern!
* Thank you Michael for your quick response. I can appreciate all the pressures put on her especially returning from maternity leave. The problem to me then lies in ownership not giving her enough support. Please send her my apologies. However, the person answering the phones should not have been so snippy that was where the problem escalated. Telling me nicely it will be a few days is all that was needed here. He told me she would answer me that day that I spoke with him (not correct information) so again I was waiting. It is impossible for me to know all the pressures put on her returning from maternity leave just a week prior. Simply having someone who answers the phone write down the customers information with date and time would be helpful or let someone who is isn’t so overwhelmed take the reservations. Just some ideas to help make her transition back and things run more smoothly. Thank you.

We went to Treehouse Tavern last night on NYE to celebrate our anniversary, and wow, what an experience. The place was absolutely packed, and I can totally see why. The decor was over the top amazing, festive and cozy.
The food was phenomenal. I had the lobster ravioli, which was rich and delicious, and my fiance ordered the steak, cooked to absolute perfection. For dessert, we shared the cannoli and the pistachio chocolate cake, and both were incredible.
The drinks were great as well. The caramel macchiato cocktail leaned a bit more bitter than sweet for my taste, maybe real caramel would take it to the next level, but it was still very good.
Our server was friendly and attentive. From start to finish, everything was wonderful. We will definitely be back! 🥂

The decor was outstanding, however we waited a good 45 minutes for our entrees, in which the sandwich and fries were cold and I asked for the dressing on the side instead it was drenched in dressing, server was going to remake it but I said no I'm not waiting another 45 minutes.

The owner, Michael, does a great job! This is a favorite restaurant of ours. The decor is festive and eclectic. The decor is forever changing with the seasons and holidays. The restaurant is broken up into several different dining rooms. As often as I've been there, I'm still finding new rooms to dine in. The food and specials are usually consistently good. They do a great job on risottos. Deserts are somewhat over-priced at 12-12.50 each. The service is typically very good, with an occasional miss. Although you will not find professionally trained career waiters/waitresses, most are pleasant and appropriately attentive.

First, to be clear: there was nothing wrong with the food or the overall dining experience. The issue was entirely with the shift manager, JR.

I met three coworkers here after work for a holiday get-together. Several of us are regulars, so expectations were reasonable. Early on, two drinks arrived incorrectly. One guest accepted the substitute. Another politely asked for the correct drink, which still came back wrong.

At that point, the manager, JR, came to our table. Instead of fixing the mistake, he was rude and condescending and told my coworker that if she did not like the drink, she should order something else. That response was inappropriate and completely lacking in basic customer service.

The rest of the staff handled the situation well. The hostess, Ashley, was calm and professional. Our waitress, Kara, was kind and attentive throughout. Most importantly, the owner, Michael, came to our table, listened, and apologized sincerely. His approach immediately improved the situation and reflected real leadership.

Bottom line: great food, strong staff, and an excellent owner. Unfortunately, one poor interaction with the shift manager nearly overshadowed the entire evening.

A unique restaurant to have lunch or dinner at. They have different themed dining rooms to sit at as well as an outside dining experience. Our waitress was great as was the food. They have a different take on chicken Marcella. The ice cream cake was excellent! They have a variety of drinks to choose from
