Tavern on the Hill

It seemed the waiter was a bit overworked. I don't mind when I can tell there is an issue. Maybe busier than expected or a call out. But in this case, he was so slammed while other sections seemed like they could have helped him out. Oh, and someone who looked like a manager didn't seem to care. She spent most of the time socializing.

DANIKA is the best bartender i’ve ever had. she’s beyond personable and is on her SHITTT. she knows what’s good.

Love this place. Good inexpensive hearty food. Cold beer local bar. Nice wait staff and customers. We like to sit at the bar. Sometimes there is a good band here. Nothing fancy but good local place.

The food selections are immense. I had the tavern chicken. Has to be one of the best pasta dishes I have had in a long time. The sauce was lightly spicy and not too sweet, the chicken and eggplant were cooked perfectly. Plenty of food, I took half home definitely enough for 2 people in this dish.
The staff is very nice and attentive. It was a little busy so I had to wait for a little at times, but I didn't mind. This place is very welcoming.

The Tavern chicken was fantastic! Lots of food for a reasonable price.

Excellent location to hold a pig roast and or fundraiser.

waitress was nice and chill. but the food was impossibly mid. some of it was cold. one person at the table had to send their meatloaf and broccoli back to have it reheated. not to mention we waited over 30 minutes for our meal to come out, when there wasn’t many people there. do not get the country fried steak or chicken. they absolutely smother it in gross heavy gravy. pretty bert experience over all. waitress looked like jinx from arcane so that’s cool.

Friendly, local bar with lots of character. Great music the night I went. The drinks were VERY generous and priced right. Typical bar food - ok. If you are looking for a fun night, you may find it here. No cover. Plenty of parking.
