Aquilante's Bistro & Tavern

No kids menu and asked waiter if they had kids portions, they said they would work with us. $23 for a kid's pizza with only cheese no sauce, kids pasta with butter $15, $15 for a glass of wine, no prices posted in menu. When Bill came they don't give you a detailed bill showing prices. We asked them to go over everything with us and found out they were going to over charge us $40. They said someone added wrong on their end. Just made for a bad experience, felt very deceived.

The food was fantastic! We had an awesome server. We order sangria fir our beverage and it was the best I have had in a long time. I highly recommend this restaurant! We will be going back.

I’m not sure if we went on an off night there or something (because the reviews I read were generally good!), but we were served the blandest, most underwhelming Italian food. The sausage that came with my dish had zero flavor and the mushroom sauce that came with my husband’s dish tasted off and looked like dirty dish water. We couldn’t even finish half of our plates since everything was so unappetizing. Our waiter spent more time chatting with other customers about things to do in Rhode Island at their tables than waiting on us… we were 1 of 3 couples in the dining area and he couldn’t answer many basic questions we asked about different menu items. The drinks and dessert were the only redeeming parts of our visit. Would definitely recommend skipping this place and going to Fresco down the road instead. So disappointing because we’ve been wanting to try this place for a while!

Great food, excellent customer service.

Absolutely appalling service!! My sister and I arrived at 7:50, restaurant closes at 8:30. My sister ordered Cod Francese, we received our meals at 8:15. She was given chicken francese, not Cod. She told the server Linda, who responded with “you ordered chicken” my sister then said “I ordered cod” Linda then said “you ordered chicken, kitchen is closed we cannot remake anything” She then proceeded to talk about the situation to another person. That person then came over, her name was Mary (apparently manager or owner) she proceeded to insist my sister ordered chicken. My sister then told her she was not going to eat or pay for the wrong meal. Mary’s response was “I don’t eat out often but when I do I try to be relaxed” WTH does that even mean. Note- If a customer receives a meal they didn’t order, how about you apologize and take it off the bill, as any other restaurant would do. Still shocked as to the rude, unprofessional, inappropriate treatment we received over an error the server made!! We will NEVER set foot in this establishment ever again. We will also make sure to share this experience with everyone we know. Do better, mistakes happen, apologize and own up to it. Simply put treat others the way you want to be treated!!

The chicken parm was cold inside the waiter took it from the table and heated it in the microwave twice he never asked if he could get us something else will never not to mention the desert was disgusting

First I want to say the owner that works at the bar is rude and doesn't even say hi when you sit down at the bar. We have been there 5 times in the last two months she knows our faces she is just downright rude. The last meal I had was a veal special the worker described it as very different from when it was served to me and it was dry and overcooked. When the check came it was $60.00 for that special I was shocked for a mediocre restaurant to charge such an outrageous price we mentioned to the server that the meal was $60.00 wow and we told her for that price it was not great. Her response was oh well. Also, they do add prices that just don't add up. We will never go back there again for me it's the owner she should be more appreciative of the customers that come in there and spend $200 for two people.

TRIPLE CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY!!!! I have been here 2 times now. The prices of food did not match up to the price of my bill BOTH times. Hidden charge within the bill. Also I had 3 margaritas at the first dinner and was not even tipsy. I don’t understand how I was underserved and was overcharged for my meals. At least the food was good.

It was our 43 Anniversary and we chose Aquilante’s for dinner. The food was outrageously delicious. My hubby had the Chicken Fiona and I had the Baked Stuffed Shrimp. Anthony was our server which we always ask for him. He’s been there for years even going back to when it was Pinellie’s. Deb
was the hostess that evening and gave us the best table in the house. Mary was behind the bar and always makes the best cocktails.

Grilled chicken was the best part of my Alfredo - tremendous flavor. Sauce was very fresh tasting, and portion size was off the charts. Seemed a bit pricey for the vibe but with portions in consideration, it was a great deal. Service was fantastic!

Food is quite good, menu is extensive, servings are plentiful, free parking right in front. A surprisingly good find in s strip mall.

The pasta dish was way over cooked to the point It fell apart. On top of being cold. Not worth the price.

Good food and good everywhere else that would count. The red sauce was very well balanced and portions were great too. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area.
