My friend and I stopped in this morning for a quick brunch. I paid $16 for a stuffed French toast that tasted like something was expired. The fruit was very fresh, but the entire meal just smelled kind of off. It was presented very cute however, I barely ate it. What we thought would be a quick café to stop in turned into a $41 sit down breakfast that we didn’t even Enjoy :(

What a perfect little family owned cafe! The whole experience was wonderful. Cute and cozy, friendly. And the food is OMG! The three of us ordered a lot because we couldn't decide and we just shared it all. Everything was delicious! Definitely coming back to try more items.

The food was delicious. The chocolate and the huevos rancheros are a must-try. Presentation was on point, and the prices felt fair for the quality. This is where the restaurant truly shines, they do a beautiful job combining flavors.
The downside was the overall experience. The restaurant advertises a fusion of American, Portuguese, and Spanish breakfast and lunch dishes, but during our visit, that concept did not fully come through. Perhaps it was the nature of the breakfast menu, but it felt limited. I only saw four full breakfast plates, the rest were sides, cupcakes, waffles, or bread.
The atmosphere also felt a bit off. There was no music, and when we arrived no one greeted us. Although there were people inside, it somehow felt empty. After we sat down, a staff member came to explain the QR code and self-serve concept, which I actually appreciated for its efficiency.
However, the wait time was long. The food took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, even though the restaurant was not full. I had ordered a simple Bustelo coffee, and after 15 minutes it had not been brought out. I even noticed the same coffee being served to a couple who had just arrived. I had to ask about mine, and it appeared it had simply been forgotten.
To be fair, this may have been an off day. There were only two servers working, which may explain the delays. Even with a self-serve system, having one or two additional staff members could likely improve the overall experience.
That said, I want to end on a positive note, the food truly was delicious. With a few adjustments to service and atmosphere, this place has strong potential.

Five stars, no question. I ordered the steak tacos and they were so filling and insanely good. The steak was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and everything tasted fresh and intentional. You know when a meal hits so hard you slow down because you don’t want it to end? That was me. I was full in the best way and still thinking about how good they were long after I left.
The whole place just feels right. Warm, inviting, and comfortable. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy your food, and actually want to hang out for a bit. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome from the second you walk in, like you’re already a regular.
This is one of those hidden gems you’re excited to tell people about. I’m already planning my next visit. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. You’ll leave happy, full, and thinking about what you’re ordering next time.

Tried breakfast here. It was great! I highly recommend the breakfast tacos! Everything was fresh. Great/friendly service. Customers complain about wait times, but everything is made to order, so it was worth 20 minutes for fresh steak. I didn’t feel the wait was too long. Definitely want to come back to try lunch menu.

Solid bang for your buck first off. I got the breakfast tacos. I added steak but the eggs alone would of been sufficient. Loaded fresh made breakfast tacos with grilled/sautéed veggies, fresh Pico, cheese, etc. Phenomenal! Need to come back to try more. It's great food made fresh. That's hard to find. Definitely recommending this place.
