Very disappointed. Order was messed up, and the food that we did get was nothing special. Nothing had any flavor.. they don’t even put salt on the fries.

Server to go: #100 on 07-24-25 take-out Veal Parm dinner and Baked Stuffed Dinner (5) ordered with baked potato/sour cream/butter...but NO BAKED POTATO once I was home and opened the paper bag. Yet, on the sale slip specifically said: sour cream/butter. So, an over $50+ dinner fell short by the cook who put together the plastic container.

Have not been here is 25+ years. What happened to this place? it was the place. Always a wait to get a table. Food was good. Now it is boring. Every person at the bar was 75+ of age. Do nursing homes and senior centers have vans to this place?

What is keeping them going? It is not the food, it is not the tv behind the bar (did not see) was not the great cocktails (was none). Was way too much carpet and fabric .

We have been to Cowesett Inn many times and never really had a problem. This year when we were trying to figure out where to go for mother's day my MIL decided on Cowesett Inn. We called and made reservations for 7 people and we were seated as soon as we arrived. Qhen making the reservation they never mentioned that Mothers day was a very limited menu. The waitress came over and asked if we would like drinks. We all told her water would be fine for now. The waitress was very short with us while taking our orders. She actually rolled her eyes at us not once but twice while taking our orders. Our orders were delivered by 2 other waitresses and never once during our dinner did our waitress check on us. Even as she walked by our table multiple times. We asked for more drinks from a different waitress because it was obvious we were not going to get any more service from our waitress. My MIL ordered the baked stuff shrimp and it was overly cooked and chewy. Both of my sister in laws ordered the stuffed chicken breast. It looked very good, but both had very little meat and both were very dry. One order had gravy served with it and the other one did not 🤷‍♀️. I ordered the prime rib and it actually was one of the best tasting ones I have ever had ( but had ALOT of fat). After dinner we waited at least 20 minutes before the dirty dishes were cleared . We asked for a dessert menu and she did bring us a menu, but it was for food, not dessert. So we sat for another 15 minutes before she came back to take our order and quickly got us the dessert menu. Dessert and coffee came out and the coffee was cold. I think next time we decide to go out for dinner, it probably won't be at Cowesett Inn

Went in with a group of 7 on mother's day. There was a limited menu. I ordered the scallops dish, when they brought the dish out I thought someone was playing a joke on me. The lack of scallops on my plate was mind boggling and the scallops that were on the plate were not good. Rest of the table was not excited with their meals either. This place was so good years ago im not sure what happened. Parking lot was always packed, drive by now and it's empty now I know why. Only bright spot of the day was the waitress Tracy. Another one bites the dust.

I have been going here since I was a kid. It’s still a wonderful night out or even a great place for friends to have lunch and a drink. Wonderful people who work here ❤️

Went.here for Easter Dinner.
Started with the Calamari, as an appetizer. First 1, I'm chewing and chewing yet I wasn't getting anywhere? It was so tough, I normally love.it but not this time , I looked at others and we seemed to all think the same thing.we sent it back, they offered another appetizer, we got stuffed mushrooms , they were ok. We ordered 4 chicken parm and 1 veal parm , they were all over cooked..
3 adults and 2 kids and we all were disappointed with the food..
I won't go back there. Years ago, I always enjoyed the food. Wonder what happened?
