Gel's is a neighborhood gem. They offer plenty of interesting twists as well as all the familiar breakfast standards. The homemade corned beef hash was excellent. Try the crepes! Friendly service made this a five star breakfast.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Ordered #5 - 3 eggs scrambled, home made hash, home fries, and toast. The scrambled eggs were great and was the only item I ate more than a bite of. The hash had an off taste. The home fries were overly greasy. The toast was burnt and cold at the same time. The butter spread on them wasn’t melted so they were cold even before that. I hated leaving 3/4 of a plate of food but couldn’t bring myself to eat any more.
