The juice isn't worth the squeeze. The hot and sour soup was very subpar. That is a dish that keeps similarities through all different forms of Chinese cooking. This was not only lacking common ingredients like mushrooms, sesame oil, soy or black fungus, it also was unbalanced and extremely heavy on vinegar giving it an undesirable taste. The teriyaki was tender but extremely bland to the point of no taste. The boneless spareribs were borderline dry and also lacked flavor. The sauce on the wings had no dominate flavors, it wasn't garlicky and the wings past the sauce lacked flavor. The pork fried rice was very good. The egg rolls lacked about a third of the filling. They had a hollow point throughout. The lobster sauce had such a strange taste I couldn't eat it.
Sometimes a dive will have great food. The walls throughout the restaurant had old food stains. Staff was friendly and attentive. I won't return.
The food wasn't the best but it was ok, service and atmosphere were good.
We have been going to for years. Even though many other Asian restaurants have popped up around the area,House of Wu has always been the best .
Food was disgusting took it back
Best Chinese spot around in West Warwick Rhode Island! Killer Scorpion bowls Lollll
Best pork egg fu young, and shrimp with lobster sauce around!
My family's been coming here for over 30 years and we have never been disappointed. House of Wu is a local staple and we love them!!
Lobster sauce 🔥🔥
I just had the most tasteless BBQ Spare Ribs I have ever had.
I enjoy traditional americanized Chinese food. The kind you can get at a mall or most Chinese buffets.
This place is not that. If you're looking for General Tso or Orange Chicken, and you're imagining the traditional crunchy chicken that's coated in an orange/red sauce that's packed with flavor- you will not be getting that here.
Every chicken option they offer tends to be Chinese chicken fingers slightly coated in a sauce that's different than you would get anywhere else.
The staff are amazing. This isn't a reflection on them. The food just simply isn't good.
My friend and I could order 2 different chicken plates but all were getting are the same chicken fingers with sauce drizzled on top and that's not my idea of a good meal.

General tso's chicken combo was delicious. Only thing that bothered me was the booth we sat in was against the wall and the wall showed evidence of uncleaned spills.
Good isn’t good anymore. They just drizzle sauce on your food. No taste.
Hot and sour soup looked like egg drop and smelled like acidic bile did not have any of the ingredients of hot and sour soup, The rest of the food was average. They’re clearly cutting corners. Do not go here. They tried to tell me the hot and sour soup was wu style. What a joke.
I haven’t been here for quite a while after reading such negative reviews. Today I decided to form my own opinion and am glad I did.
The wonton soup has always been my favorite and today it surpassed my expectations.
I wanted chicken with vegetables as a combo and they were happy to fulfill my request. It was delicious. My husband is a chow mein fan and he wasn’t disappointed.
I've been going here since I was a kid. Love the food, service is good. Def try the house wings!
