I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always consistent and fresh. I only ever go for lunch, usually around 12pm. I never leave without grabbing some chicken empanadas with their mayo ketchup sauce. So good. Rice is always fluffy. Portions are generous. You won’t go hungry. Definitely can find yourself eating some and saving some for a midnight snack later.
I think it is a really great lunch spot, it has good portions and prices, I am unfamiliar with Dominican food before this and it has been a great first, second, and third impression so far. I really liked the Tostones, Jugo de Chinola, the sauce is simple but goes great with everything and the medium will fill you up.
Literally thee best Hispanic food in all of Rhode island and I've tried alot around providence and even the food trucks, noone can top LA CASITA hands down the best food and the owner is amazingly friendly!
