Stopped in on Thanksgiving and purchased a pecan pie and it was so good. The service was very quick and friendly. The bakery has a nice little sit down area if you want to have a snack and a coffee.

Stopped in to grab a loaf of bread because they were closer than my usual bakery. The bread was so good! New favorite bakery for bread and looking forward to trying some of their pastries next time—everything in the case looked fantastic!

Just traveled to RI and was in need of some good Portuguese food, but was not quite sure it would be found in Coventry. Searched local map and found Aroma. Called, placed a big order and it was ready for pick up within 10 min.! The girl was very courteous and had a beautiful personality and the food just as I had hoped it would be!

Place was really cute. Food was okay. Service was rude and seemed annoyed I was there. I wouldn’t return or recommend.

This used to be mateo bakery. The used to sell the best cakes and pastries . Sadly they have new owners. I have been there two times. Supposedly their bakeries are made with natural ingredients but they are made with artificial strawberries raspberries or blueberries. They are not natural ingredients. And the prices from the cakes went from 3 to $5 when I used to purchase from the previous owners everything was made with natural ingredients I used to go there every single day to get them for breakfast you used to see the store for every morning with so many people. Now you're going there you hardly see any people because the prices are so high. The place is nice and clean yeah but I don't like the service and I don't like the prices. And for that reason I stopped going there it's not worth paying $5 for a little cupcake. When I ate the cupcake the batter wasn't even done right it has clumps and lumps inside and it tastes like freezer burn.

Driving into town, we came across a non-chain, fresh bakery. We stopped to get the official drink of Rhode Island, coffee milk. My hubby went in to order. Our drinks were made fresh and hot! Well, we couldn't have the coffee milk without a treat. He bought éclairs as well. The éclairs were delicious with the rich and creamy coffee concoction! Honestly, i had never heard of coffee milk before this trip. It is hot milk made with coffee syrup. It almost tastes like the milk part of a malted milk ball. This little bakery also has savory goodies as well.
