Rude service for meal correction. Very uncomfortable feeling when sharing with management my opinion of the subpar meal. The environment became hostile and after a thorough explanation the management began to embrace my truth. I will not dine there anymore. I deserve better treatment.

Just got back from a week in Myrtle Beach. We went to Becks restaurant in Calabash for lunch. It was good. Had the seafood platter. Tonight, I went to Captain Steve's. WOW! Had fried scallops,oysters and shrimp with onion rings and fries. The plate was huge! I couldn't finish the meal. Scallops were very large as were the oysters along with a huge portion of shrimp. It was the best I have ever had. Chyeanne was so attentive. Look forward to coming back.

Actually superior to the sister restaurant in Fort Mill. Steve met us at the door and explained the origin of the restaurants. Relaxed atmosphere, attentive server, delicious seafood (healthy [or unhealthy] portions, depending upon your stance on fried), dessert was too good! Excellent onion rings!

We visited the Charlotte AutoFair and was trying to find somewhere nice to eat. Our favorite Cajun restaurant nearby just isn’t what it used to be. So using TripAdvisor’s recommendation we came here. Food was great, and a very special shout out to Mason who took care of us. Super service.

Went to location in Charlotte for years, always enjoyable experience. That was 10 years ago when living in area. I tried this location in Harrisburg today and was let down. Service good, prices good, food below to average . The other thing that surprised me was charging 50 cents for Togo cup (pouring contents from glass on table) and then charging 3.5 percent convenience fee for paying with card. Nothing was displayed on menu or by wait staff for fees. I will not return to this restaurant, too many other restaurants competing for your dollar, and not hiding fees surprising customer when paying check.

Had dinner here last night and had to wait @ 10 minutes, which wasn't bad for a Saturday night. I ordered the small fried flounder without skin and it was ok. Usually much better, but maybe an off night. Other person ordered the jumbo shrimp and was delicious. We had a new waitress and she was great. So, great service, an average meal and minimal wait around 8:00pm.

We have eaten at Captain Steve’s many times over the years but tonight’s experience make us question if we’ll ever return. First off, it was our anniversary. We got there at 5:45 ordered a couple of appetizers. After waiting about 20 minutes I asked the waitress to bring out the boiled shrimp, which usually only takes a couple of minutes because we were waiting a ridiculously long time. She then informed us that they dropped our chicken wing order and she had to replace the order. She said they would be out in 10 more minutes, they came out in 25 minutes. They were inedible as they were way over cooked. We had the return them. Needless to say we were not happy. We ordered our dinners and had another endless wait just to get our salads, which usually come right out. I had to tell our waitress, do not bring our our food while we were eating our salads. The table behind us got their food before their salads. Food was good, but not great. Service was not good, extremely slow! Manager never came out to see us. Plus they tried to overcharge on a special, so they had to redo the check. I am not sure if we’ll be going back after tonight’s disaster! There is no excuse for what happened tonight.

I have been customer of Captain Steve's for over 8 years. I called the Harrisburg location to put a large order for 80 pieces of baby Flounder for an special event. I was quoted $1.10 per piece from Pete we sealed the deal of a date and time for the order to be picked up. We hung up the phone. I then received a call about 20 min later telling me the price was incorrect and that the price per piece was now $1.50. That didn't sit well with me and I feel like they should have honored the price they had quoted me. I reached back out to Captain Steve's and left my name and contact information again for Pete to call me back to discuss. I never received a call back. You should stand by your own mistakes and take care of the customers who help take care of your establishment.

We came in for lunch on a Sunday with a group of 11. Our waiter was Reginald "Reggie" and he was top notch. We've had great experiences before but Reggie was spot on with his pleasant personality and the care he showed the elderly ladies in our group. He was very attentive at keeping the yummy hushpuppies and honey butter flowing until our food arrived. As always the plates are full and hot and always enough leftovers to take home. Everyone in our group had a great time and enjoyed the food. This was one of our spot on visits where everything hit A++++ out of the park. Thanks Reggie! I hope your bosses know they have a hard worker who has a great personality and everyone liked him. It was also great seeing his teammates assist with getting all the food orders out and served in a quick fashion. This was a rarity that it was this pleasant of an experience and I had to leave a review. I also plan on calling the store directly since they don't seem to have a way to leave comments on their site.
During the COVID19 pandemic, the service at the curb was excellent and the food was excellent and abundant!!!! Thanks to Captain Steve staff for great customer sevice

My family visited captain Steve's in harrisburg twice in Feburary. Both times the wait was short and the service was unbelievably friendly. The food is good ad well and super large portions which allows us to have leftovers!
