The food was so delicious. Desiree was so friendly and helpful. They were great about preparing our daughter's food the way she'd like it best ( tacos but all ingredients separate) and the placemat and crayons kept her happy. Desiree was so kind. She helped make it a lovely meal. Our food was so delicious. The location on the water is beautiful, and the atmosphere inside was perfect. We already can't wait to go back.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is small but good. Our three year old prefers her food separate, deconstructed I guess. So they made her warmed naan, sliced cheese, chicken, and French fries and gave it to her like that. She loved it and ate a lot. They had crayons and placemats for coloring. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to her as well.

Just had my first meal at Cinder and was happily surprised at the unique menu options for both a meat eaters and vegetarian/vegans. The beautiful riverside location was relaxing and easy to get to.
Vegetarian options: It’s hard to find exciting vegetarian options in this area, even though the area has many wonderful restaurants, from Westerly to Mystic to Stonington. The options at Cinder are not just delicious, but unique and surprising in their textures and flavor combinations. My husband is a meat eater and had lots of great options, and we both loved the dishes we ordered. The food had lots of flavor and was well spiced and well presented. The staff was warm and attentive and the location — right on the river — is lovely.
Dietary restrictions: I am vegetarian and try to eat gluten-free and my husband enjoys meat.
Food was really good, it was a busy Friday night and the food took a bit longer than expected but is was understandable.

This place is a vibe. Environment was awesome with fire pits, outdoor and indoor seating along side a river. Food was excellent. I tried their Poutine as I’ve never had it and it was good. I also had their Banh Mi tacos with corn tortilla and pork belly. Ugh it was so good. I wish their was some type of seafood dish though.
Parking: There were more than enough spots when we were there for a late lunch but I could see it possibly filling up when the restaurant is pumping

We've enjoyed meals at Cinder more than once now, and they've always been excellent. We stopped by to enjoy an outdoor lunch recently and it was another amazing experience. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is perfect, and the food is better than you could imagine. I'd recommend any of the items we tried this time around, especially the super refreshing half ginger pineapple juice & half herbal tea drink. The bahn mi naan tacos, beans & greens, and French fries are all worth trying, too. You'll be glad you try any of their dishes!

This was my second time to Cinder, and it was just as fantastic as the first! We discovered this restaurant a month ago when we were in Watch Hill for the afternoon. I couldn’t wait to go back!! (This time we drove an hour to dine there.). The staff were friendly and efficient. The fries with sriracha aioli, smash burger on homemade naan and summer salad were all so fresh and flavorful! We also appreciated the cocktail and beer selections!. We chose to eat indoors tonight and loved that the doors stayed open. We were full after our meal but curious about the honey pine nut tart (with mai tai whip cream!) so we took it home. It was delicious! The chef (owner(s)?) obviously have some mad culinary talents! I love everything about this place!!

The food was absolutely delicious- a perfect pit stop while driving from the Cape to Connecticut. Fantastic fermented foods, creative dishes, excellent beverages, and a really reasonable price point. Our favorites included the tri-curry grits, as well as the jerk chicken and smash burger naan tacos. The bok choy Caesar salad was light and refreshing. The view of the river is also delightful. My children (5 and 8) devoured all of the above and gave the restaurant “1,500 stars.” Great service, too!
