If you want the best fish and chips you have had, then you NEED to Come HERE!!! I tried this place five years ago with my family and I said this is the best ever. I recently came back about a month ago and it STILL lives up to it!! BEST FISH & CHIPS

I am on vacation from the UK... as a working class person I found this establishment very expensive for the food received. Basically, 4 shrimps on a bed of of crushed ice 2 slices of dry bread and a diet coke cost me $30. We had to ask for butter for the bread, which, when it came was as hard as a rock. I appreciate the area is expensive and upmarket...but I feel we were ripped off.

The only complaint I have is that it is a bit noisier than I like. We had great food amd great, very quick service! Everything was very good! We ordered extra veggies for my daughter shortly after our food came and they came out very quick!
The food was some of the worst food I ever had terrible experience. They served an appetizer that they said was heirloom tomatoes, which they were not Caesar salad dressing was just about edible. Pasta Had to have Ben jar sauce Cocktails were awful Very sad to spend money on food that was just about un edible Beautiful location so there is no excuse for a restaurant like that not to have quality food. I feel sorry for the people that work there.

Response to owners: You didn’t refuse our service, we were already leaving. My husband did not threaten your husband. Your husband got in my husband’s face and my husband said verbatim “you would never get in my face if we weren’t in front of 100 people”. That is not a threat. I wish recorded how you two behaved. I did not realize when I wrote the review that you two were the owners and that you were husband and wife. You did not call the police- I called westerly police to confirm. We also remained in the area and no police arrived so again, more lies from you guys just liked when you lied and said it’s against fire code to have high chairs! Clowns
Restaurant does not have high chairs. We came today for lunch. Our 2 year old was fussy because he couldn't sit comfortably in a chair for adults. I asked an employee sitting and eating on the floor, if I could bring in a stroller- he said yes. So I wasted my time going back to my car to get it because as soon as I got back to my table the hostess said I couldn't have it. Frustrated, my husband asked to speak to a manager. That's when this loud, aggressive woman came out saying high chairs are against fire code and when my husband told her that wasnt true she started screaming "get out" and she had a smaller man with her who got my husbands face while my husband was holding our small child. The manager also yelled at my mother who was holding my crying, 6 year old. Her behavior was egregious. I would like to acknowledge that our waiter was very professional and offered to us to move tables so that we could keep the stroller. He would honestly make a better manager than the two imbeciles we dealt with today. If she knew how to he a manager and let us talk she would know that we were told two different things by your staff.

Stopped in for clams and beverages on a cool and cloudy day. Sat at the bar. Owen and Devin are the gems of this classic seaside standby. The strawberry mojito was hands down the best drink I’ve ever had. Resplendent with sugar cane stirrer, Owen crafted the most perfect mojito, and Devin an equally-good Greyhound. All was perfect except for this guy, Rob. But we’ll leave that right here.
