I really was looking forward to visiting this restaurant. The powdered reconstituted Hollandaise on my Lobster Benedict did it in for me. 2 hours later I still have cornstarchy film in my mouth. The homefries have no flavor. The coffee is sub par. The tomato juice was warm. Not once did we get asked how we were or if we wanted a refill of our coffee. I got asked what was wrong when it was noticed that I wasn’t eating. I put forth my complaint and was met with a snarky “sorry”. I was however asked if I wanted something else…but alas no. What happened to customer service? What happened to someone like the manager coming to the table and listening to the customers concerns. I tried to get past the recent bad reviews. But I can see that Sunnyside isn’t taking the reviews seriously or doesn’t care.

This is one of my favorite breakfast stops. I love the seasoned home fries. The service is always good and they have some great pastries. The extra large cup of coffee is a vig plus as well.

This is an amazing breakfast restaurant. I have been here several times and the food never disappoints. I recommend the blueberry pancakes, as they were fluffy and decadent! The home fries were also delicious! The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy! However, cozy means small, and this is a small restaurant (I think it's a converted house). If you go at a busy time (and this place does get busy), you will most likely have to wait for a table. There is no good, comfortable place to wait due to space constraints. But the rest of the place is well worth any wait!
Parking: There is a tiny parking lot in the front. If that is full, you will need to drive around the building to the gravel lot in the back.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2 ADA parking spots right at the front door. There is a large ADA ramp leading to the door. The restaurant is small, so having a wheelchair in there may be very tight.

Order the sausage omelette with cheese sausage was cold but cheese wasn’t even melted. I don’t think I’ll be going back there again. I recommend this to anybody. I guess they don’t know how to make an omelette.

Let's start from the beginning ,started off ok the waitress who seated us was nice took our coffe order, then it started to bad , our waiters came over with an attitude right away , came to our table and said with an attitude "you ready to order yet " no hi no name nothing but that. So I ordered the short stack chocolate pancakes and a order of hash my wife ordered the breakfast burrito,she said ok and walked away . Another waitress delivered our food and she was nice . The hash was homemade with awful water down potatoes and over cooked cornbeef drenched in grease and had no seasoning. Wish I took a picture but grabbed the waitress who dropped off the food and said We can't eat this and before I could say why ,she said "to greasy ?" And I replied to greasy . Then I took a bite into the worst and dry pancakes I have ever had . My wife burrito was ok but the homefries were awful again watered down and no seasoning. When the rude waitress came to ask us if everything was OK we told here what was wrong and she replied "I have never had these many complaints I guess people like different things " and then walked away and never came back till she dropped off the bill which she did take off the hash and pancakes because we didn't eat them . No one came to refill our coffee.. its also important to mention the rude waitress went up to another waitress and said to her I'm doing this to prove a point today because what she did was wrong . we will never be back and caution people not to waste there time ! Worst breakfast place I have ever went to in my 47yrs ! Want great breakfast in that area go to Hungry heaven!

The food was absolutely delicious. Great portions, pretty fast, great price. Fast and quality service. This place made our trip even better. Definitely recommend the French toast and the breakfast burrito!
