Sadly this place had gone downhill. We sat at the bar. Ordered Salads that came in a plastic to go container that were very small. Small plastics utensils that we had to ask for as well as napkins. Atmosphere still cool but when sitting at the bar should serve food on plates with silverware especially with that they charge for a salad. Will not be back.

Best place ever! I loved the environment so much—super welcoming and relaxing. My waiter, Elias Johnson, was truly the BEST. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and provided fast, efficient service while being genuinely kind and personable. He made the experience even better and absolutely deserves a raise. I’ll definitely be coming back!

so bad don’t go here i waited over and hour for a sandwich just for it to fall apart and not even be able to eat it. the cooks were just standing there talking instead of making the food and the servers kept saying it was coming but 25 minutes later it still wasn’t ready. so disgusting

The sandwiches used to be good years ago but now they use different bread they’re very bland and not as flavorful. The service is also eh. Sucks because it used to be so good

I’ve been going to this place for years and it has completely gone down hill. Service is great in the front but I don’t know what’s going on with the kitchen…we ordered a #7 and this is what we got for a $17 sandwich… oil everywhere, slapped a piece of lettuce on and red onion barely chopped. The roll is stale and only the top part of the roll was cut, the remainder was not even cut all the way through. (Not that I care that much about it being cut…it’s the complete laziness or lack of culinary skills behind the kitchen clearly). I’ve been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but extremely disappointed in quality this go around. Do not recommend and I will not be returning after this. Save yourself go to the Deli a few doors down.

Sandwich was OK - an hour wait for 2 sandwiches and putting on line orders ahead of in person orders just is not right. Management should address this. We’ll not be back.
I wouldn't go back. Nice cocktail menu and the drinks were fine. $15. Sandwiches on the other hand, meh. The tuna, for all the fancy ingredients listed, was just a skimpy tuna sandwich for $15. The pimento cheese BLT with avocado was okay. Pimento cheese (which had top billing) was such a tiny smear it was almost non-existent. Also $15. No chips, no pickle. Server didn't ask for our choice of bread so they came on toasted bread. No paper check. They present an iPad with the total of the check and a button to push for the tip. Go for a drink, skip the sandwich.

Decor and ambiance is like a mini-Olympia Tea Room (which is right next door and great, but closed for lunch M-Th). Sandwich menu and drink menu at 10 was full of favorites and “themed” with numbers as names. My wife had the Tuna (# 8, I think) and a cold beer. I had the Caprese with prosciutto (# 10). Both were delicious, with very fresh bread. I had the Pimm’s Cup as a cocktail, very refreshing. Prices are reasonable for Watch Hill. Service was prompt and pleasant. We sat at the bar (really the only seats) and the bartender/waitress was working hard and nicely skilled given the small surface they give her to mix. I would recommend 10.
Had the five at the Ten and it was a one. Took one bite and knew in one moment something was wrong. Opened one half and found: three sprouts (three!), the tiniest sliver of avocado, and no cheese on the entire sandwich. I know there are essentially children preparing the sandwiches, but this is absurd. Train your cooks. Have them eat the sandwiches and spend some time describing what they taste. I am giving a second star because when I pointed out what was wrong with the sandwich, it was corrected. Sort of. I won't eat here again. Sift is so, so much better! Ten is fun for a drink however . . . .
I went here and bought 2 sandwiches, number 6. The chicken was so dry, that I had a hard time swallowing it. The dry and old (it's deep brown) bacon and insane amount of pepper didn't help either. To top it all off, the sandwiches were thrown together embarrassingly sloppy, and every piece of lettuce was rotten. My camera made the lettuce actually look better, turning a fading yellow into a vibrant green. At 32 dollars for two mediocre sandwiches, I expected my food not to be rotten, at the minimum.
