The band called the peach eaters were so good actually unbelievable! There was about 100 plus people in there and only 3 waitresses and they knew that they were all coming in around the same time to see the band. You could see the tremendous pressure that they were under and it was taking a toll on these ladies who were doing the best they could and they were falling behind because of the long wait for all the orders that went in around the same time and the only bartender was struggling to keep up. I saw the tears in the waitresses eyes. I heard that a few tables left no tips. This was an epic failure in the scheduling and it could have been easy avoided. I blame Chan for being cheap on getting a few more people on for a 3 hour shift and the waitresses would have gotten better tips instead of getting nothing. Chan should reimburse the 20% for the tips they deserved. Otherwise great music, barely warm food and getting our drinks took forever. But it was so obvious that this was going to happen. It's not rocket science but a cheap owner was to blame

First time eating at Chan's.
Portions were massive, appetizers, egg food young and chow mein so.....good.
Our server Robin was AMAZING even though she was responsible for many tables. They also have live entertainment at a reasonable price!
After reading Chans other reviews I am not sure why there is negativity.

We will definatley be back!

I was the first one in the door at 3:00 p.m.
I ordered a number 29 rice, lobster sauce and boneless rib. The food took a long time but that was okay I knew they had just opened and I was the only one in the restaurant. I thought for sure this was a good thing and the food was gonna be hot and the rice was going to be fresh.
Let’s just say that wasn’t the case.
This was last nights leftover rice reinvented and doctored with an awful dark brown oily texture and very little pork if any.
The ribs were covered in a honey goo and the lobster sauce looked and tasted like it came out of a can.
The waitress was nice so I didn’t want to hurt her feelings.
I took a couple bites and asked for the check.
She knew I wasn’t pleased.
I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there. This was Sept 17, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.

When I first ordered I was told it would be $2.00 off any number special today on that list.
There was no $2.00 savings I paid full price plus tip and ran for the hills.

Place was empty but we waited for someone to seat us -finally someone who wasn’t working sat us down with menus. The waitress was friendly so things started to look up until the food arrived none of us liked the egg rolls ( salty and the outside wasn’t cooked all the way). We had four dishes - lo mein was ok, sesame chicken was terrible ( chewy , and sauce too sweet) , broccoli chic was just meh! Over $100 for our bill ( only 1 drink). We won’t return. It’s not the service it’s the food.

A mixed bag is what you get at Chans. The portions are very generous, if not inexpensive. The egg rolls are delicious; some of the best I've had. The crabmeat wontons have a deliciously light shell with a less than stellar and bland filling. The Mongolian Beef includes beautiful flank medallions that are tender, and are served in a much sweeter sauce than I anticipated. The Generals Chicken is crispy, tender, perfectly spiced and less sweet than typically served in the region, which is a good thing. The pfr tasted like I've never had before, which is NOT a good thing. Basically, for everything that I enjoyed, there was something I didn't. Those things I didn't enjoy weren't bad, just uninspired and lacking any flavor. Big shout out to the Hot Mustard...it was so good, I bought some to keep at home.
The service was friendly and fast.
The dining room looks like it was last refreshed in the '60s and the seating feels like it too.
Overall, not a bad place, not a great place.

Authentic Chinese cuisine. Best scorpion cocktail ever tasted. Food was delicious I ordered wonton soup and seafood Meadow platter. I agree with two magazines awarded as best Chinese cuisine in the state.

Food was below average. Cocktails were so watered down..didn’t even taste alcohol in them.
Show was very good although the band was so loud, we couldn’t even understand the word of the singer!
