Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille

The Manager Barry an staff were very accommodating for my daughter who has a gluten free allergy. Everyone was friendly an polite! Food was great, will absolutely order food again! Thank you again Barry an staff!

Have been going to chelos forever but hadn't been to this location. The roast beef sandwich was great! Lots of flavor but not overpowering. Steak fries (done well!) are a nice touch but they have curly fries too. The red chowder is fantastic as are the clam cakes and on the weekends half priced appetizers! Value is always excellent.

awful food this place has deteriorated to applebees/chilis quality or worse since I came here 10 years ago... not just chelos but a lot of restaurants have lost touch with providing good quality food to paying customers no wonder everyone is just cooking at home these days... never again

Great place first time here. Food was very good, service was fantastic! They had a ton to choose from and a big dessert menu. I would definitely be back!

At the Providence location, They don't tell you if you order online, you don't get Best Guest Reward points !!!!! It's Outrageous !!!! If you call in your order, they always get it wrong. Other places do not do this. Don't be fooled. They only are out for themselves. Boycott Chelo's !!!!!!

I’ve always loved Chelo’s but I can’t help but have a bad taste in my mouth after being told I couldn’t take any leftovers from my half price apps home. This restaurant would rather throw away perfectly good food- that the customer paid for- than let them take it to go and have a nice snack later on. So much for smaller businesses caring about their customers. That just feels so corporately American to me. Come on Chelo’s, do better 🙃 (Also, in the past I’ve been able to take half price apps home, so is this a new policy or do only certain servers abide by the rules?)

Chelos has always been very good have never been served a bad meal fish and chips are Awesome Red chowda is my favorite

One of the best Sunday football experiences in my life!! Half price hearty apps and many tvs to watch any sport...my waitress was Barbie and she was spectacular...knew all the new season brewss/ new arrivals to chelos..I definitely will be back tomorrow

I just want to say I really appreciate this place having a decent vegan menu. You can’t find a vegan menu like this at almost bigger chain restaurants. it’s nice to have an option when I want to eat dinner with my Omnivore friends and family.

This place used to be amazing. I don’t know what’s happened to the food lately, but it has not been the quality I’m used to at Chelos. I gave this spot one last shot today for lunch and I got sick. The honey mustard tasted like old, rotten fish and everything but the buffalo mac and cheese was cold. Service is typically great when I go. I want the Chelos experience I used to have.
