Christophers Kitchen and Bar

Ordered the NY strip medium rare… $29 for instant mashed potatoes and a leather steak. Inedible, I ended up sending it back. Not to mention it took over an hour to come out of the kitchen. Terrible experience, will never return.

Update from previous review- Unfortunately the menu has changed and the food quality was not really good. Spaghetti was over cooked, buffalo cauliflower seemed like it could have been frozen, and the mashed potatos were not great. I've been to this restaurant 4-5 times in the last year and would rate it a 5 star every time in all areas. Food is delicious, service good, atmosphere is nice and easy to make a reservation.

Rikki , justine , and the new girl jill is fabulous, the food was out of this world and the drink just as good ! The new owner is very hands on and does an amazing job ! Overall very impressed, oh and the chef steve came out and personally shook my hand when i said compliments to the chef . Im so coming back

The Is absolutely spectacular but the food That steve cooked was absolutely phenomenal Fresh off the grill so good I had to shake his hand I had the server bring him out from the kitchen So good very much recommend

We were regulars here, always had phenomenal service, food, drinks etc. and figured we’d try it again after the renovation-do not BOTHER. Service was absolutely HORRENDOUS. Waited half hour for drinks, about an hour for our food, staff was nowhere in sight and the food was disgusting. Salty, tasted microwaved, another one bites the dust. For the prices, this was absolutely awful. Will not be going back. Save your time and money and go to River Falls.

So first time here since the original owner sold out, we sat there for 15 minutes before the waitress came over and took a drink order, then after we ordered it took a good 30 minutes to get our food which I had the baked Haddock, the fish was over cooked and Luke warm at best, my tablespoon of spinach was cold and of course the normal size helping of mashed potatoes was just warm. Major fail, there was 4 of us and for what we paid I was very disappointed, not the same Christopher's, not even close. I don't know if I'll go back, it used to be our go to when we went to the local show. I stretched at 2 stars.

They don't serve bread. The Lobster roll had only 3 small pieces of lobster, deserts were bland, Sirloin steak was grisly, taramisu and hazlenut cake, which is why the 3 stars. Other 4 meals were good, 2 steak tips,Christopher burger and sea bass.

The only thing that was enjoyable was the pumpkin espresso martinis. The food was not good and very bland. I would definitely not go back to this establishment. My husbands drink was watered down and my lobster roll and fries looked like something I could have made at home.

Have been here plenty of times, food and staff has always been amazing. This time we waited 15 mins to be asked what we wanted to drink, saw our waitress two times throughout the whole 3 course meal. And every time we asked a waiter or waitress for another drink or example ketchup no one would come back with anything. This was an awful experience!

I needed to come correct my previous review. This WAS our favorite restaurant. The last year it has totally fallen off. The food taste and quality has dropped drastically. Our last 3 orders have had an issue... missing food, wrong sides. Last order the owner became involved in, he gave his number to text him proof of the order, receipt and pictures of the food. Sent everything as requested same night. Only response was asking what the sides were supposed to be for the steak tips. I responded. nothing since and its now been over a week. I have reached back out 3 times and he doesn't even respond but has read the messages. The point wasn't the money, it's the mistakes that should have been fixed. I never asked for a penny back, just wanted what was ordered that again Christopher's failed to provide and then ignore the customer. Horrible customer service both eating in side and take out. At this point I'll give River Falls another shot and that's not saying much at all.

We ordered cocktails and they were not great at all pure cranberry juice. Did not bother to order a 2nd one to be disappointed again. Our food came out like warm at best. We have been here multiple times. This was our 23rd anniversary dinner and we were so disappointed. May be back again not sure . Unfortunately, we were so excited to go since we hadn't been in a while and was quite the disappointment:( LC

Dining at Christopher's was delightful! Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. Every staff member was refreshingly pleasant and accommodating. We live in Boston and are already looking forward to our next meal at Christopher's.
