It was a Thursday night and not busy at all. One in my party ordered a dish and did not have the correct sides that was listed on the menu. The server did not look into it at all. No specials and the seasonal ravioli was cheese ravioli. We were disappointed.

The prime rib special was 1/2 thick, overcooked and tough. The steak tip salad was soggy and limp. Not worth the prices that were charged. Waiter almost spilled my dish on me... the waitress did spill it on me. Very disappointed all the way around.

Our dinner to River Falls was a good one. Old mill ambience was nice and added live music was a plus! Service was quick and efficient. Food, prime rib and salmon were both very good. Cheese cake for dessert was average. Drinks on the other hand were disappointing. We don't drink so usually just order soda water which is what we had. When we got the bill we were charged for each refill, I know we ordered and drank them but can't remember a time or place in the last decade that didn't offer free refills on there very overpriced soft drinks, same was with coffee. Again when have you not had free refills on coffee. Certainly not a deal breaker and we'll probably return but then only drink water and we'll save a bunch for sure and restaurant will loose a little.

The River falls very short!! from even alright food. I got chicken parm the chicken was dryer then the Desert. Wife got dehydrated Salmon and risotto idk who the chef thinks he is, but putting 36 oz of cheese in your 1/2 cup Serving of risotto But ITS NOT IT!!. You need to go back to go to your grandmas cook book and go step by step, Nevemind…dehydrating everything you cook is not it sir. Waitress was very good and professional! drinks will be the only thing I come back for. I’d rather get lit off the drinks and find my self at New York lunch. Then trust chef Boyardee with the dehydrated dinners.

Ordered an apple cider margarita that had no apple flavor and again, took forever to get. All in all, very expensive for what we got food and service wise.

Food and atmosphere was great. I was supposed to be given a free appetizer for signing up with my email but they charge us for it. My husband didn't realize until we got home. We had a big party so we didn't catch it at the time.

We really like this place. Unfortunately on our most recent order we found a big hair in our food. Also ordered the side of butternut squash and there was definitely sugar added to it. Wayyy too sweet to be plain squash. Who adds sugar to a vegetable?! Also, steak was medium rare despite ordering it medium well. Usually our orders are spot on but something was different tonight. Hopefully not a new trend.

It was much better than last time. I had bruschetta chicken served over spinach risotto. It was great. Complex mixture of flavors. Huge portion and a beautiful presentation. I was disappointed the last time I was there, but this meal put River Falls back on my list. Keep it up!👍 The menu was large and varied. We started the dinner with a wonderful Thai cauliflower plate. It was very satisfying with great flavor. I highly recommend both items I had today.

They still have their weekly deals and even have trivia nights and a full bar. Parking in the area is easy and I’ve never had to wait for a table.
The last time I went I had the salmon BLT which tasted fresh and had a huge portion of fish. My dad had the fish and chips which were also great- I love their tartar sauce. Also good is their seafood pasta, meatloaf, etc.
If you haven’t been to River Falls in a while I highly recommend trying again- it’s definitely back on the up and up!

Staff was very pleasant and quick to help. Our waitress was great. I can't say enough good things about her. The place was dead. We ordered calamari it was rubbery. The mozzarella moon's were excellent. My Thanksgiving sandwich had spinach on it ??! What! Was supposed to be warm was cold. My fiancee's steak was OK mashed potatoes were instant mash. I wont be back. Usually I will give a restaurant another shot if its busy and could have been simple errors. But no excuse on their part really. Hats off to our waitress!!

River Falls is my go to place before a show at the Stadium Theater. Food is good and service is good too. Had the baked stuffed haddock which is my favorite meal there.

THIS WAS OUR 5 TIME THIS SUMMER AND OVER ALL I SAY GOOD--THE OUT SIDE WAS BETTER FOR SERVICE AND CHARM--THE INSIDE WAS BETTER FOR WARM FOOD--WE HAD THE ONION SOUP THAT WAS STILL GREAT--I HAD THE TURKEY DINNER THAT WAS VERY GOOD--MY PARTNER HAD BALSAMIC CHICKEN DINNER SAID IT WAS VERY GOOD BUT NEEDED LESS BALSAMIC ON IT--AFTER 5 DIFFERENT DINNERS FOR BOTH OF US--OVERALL DINNERS WERE JUST OK , SERVICE WAS ACCEPTABLE, OUT SIDE WAS BETTER-- DEFINITELY WORTH A TRY! HEADING TO FLORIDA BE BACK AT THE RIVER FALLS IN JUNE TO SEE IF IT'S ANY BETTER OR WORSE--

Found this gem after a show at the Stadium Theater. The menu got my attention, when we got there, we found this beautiful place on the water with outside seating and a great view. Jacqueline was out server and she greeted our table with water, which was much needed. She really made the experience that much better. Attentive and on point with everything. Bartender made great drinks and the food... The food was delish chef.. really was. We are coming back there soon because the atmosphere was splendid. Great times... Great eats... Great service.
