I am a flight attendant who browses around towns and states because I am just so curious. I rented a car on my days off and drove up to Woonsocket to see what it was all about. Of course I pulled into a Market Square parking lot and the first thing I saw was a fish and chips restaurant. I have always loved fish and chips my whole life and had a feeling that this place would be amazing. And it was. I ordered two fish a la carte and they were seriously the BEST two pieces of fish...
It's not about armosphere, its about the food! Only place I know of that has English style fish and chips. Its different than the way most places do it. In my opinion its delicious. You have to try it to really understand what I mean.
I don't like much seafood, but I have always liked Ye Olde English Fish & Chips since I was a kid, and have always compared any other fish and chips to it. I have only found one that I feel even comes close. I always order it well done so the fish is extra crispy!
