went last night with friends, always good food, good portions and reasonable prices! Varied menus with dailey specials. i LOVE the chicken livers and the fried oysters, yum. If your looking for fancy atmosphere this isn’t it, but good food, good service, great menu selection you need to try Old Country Dinner in Abbyville.

The bacon burger is really good. I wasn't crazy about the fries but the onion rings had really good flavor. The staff was really nice. The red velvet cake I had was great. The gravy needs needs more seasoning but overall the food was greatly prepared just need some seasoning. The only other thing is that the bathrooms need to be check and cleaned more often. I would be back if I travel thru Abbeville.

Meatballs were black inside, coleslaw was soggy and felt like iceberg lettuce, prices still the same but portions smaller and less fresh than before. It’s yucky.
While camping near by, we decided to ride around and grab a bite for lunch when we stumbled upon this gem of a diner. We both chose the country fried steak with white gravy. It comes with 2 sides. Everything was exceptional. The sweet potato soufle and broccoli casserole (both homemade), were the best we've ever had. The service was awesome, very fast, friendly, and attentive. I highly recommend visiting if in the area.

Great place just way to high for what you get and there are no children's plates so expect to pay $20+ for every person at the table. Food was OK not good. Definitely do not recommend the turkey and dressing. The menu price was also different than what I was charged, when i questioned them i was told it was an old menu with old prices, definitely not for me. Me and my family will not be returning.
Kid-friendliness: No kids menus, kids will be $20+ dollars a child, it's ridiculous.

Stopped here while waiting on my nephew and ordered take out. Omgosh!!!! I will never eat at this place again!!! I wouldn’t have even fed my meal to a dog it was so nasty!!! Talk about a waste of money!!!! I’m soooo pissed!!!
