Very clean and friendly staff, food was good. The Greek salad was especially good. Almost ordered the Country Fried Steak, but after finding out the owner and chef were Greek we went for Eggplant parmesan. A little different presentation, fried eggplant placed on a bed of spaghetti noodles and covered with marinara sauce, and a generous portion of mozzarella cheese and Parmesan.
Food quality is not the same since new owners took over restaurant. The past couple of times we ate there the food was not as good. Service was great, atmosphere was great. Food came out quickly. But some of the food was not as hot as I would have liked for it to be. They say same cook, but I think new owners are using different ingredients to fry foods. I used to love the fried porkchop dinner and fried chicken dinner. The last time I got porkchop dinner they were very fatty,...
The food here is unbelievably good, with very generous portions. Everything made from scratch, even the rolls it seems! We especially like the chicken fried steak (2 pcs), onion rings, and the greens.
