The food was perfect for our lunch! Checking out the town before heading back home we stumbled across this little gem. 4 hours later I am still full. Roast pork sandwich, blt, grilled chicken sandwich, grilled cheese... turtle and coconut cream pie... oh my! No complaints from the kids, the husband or myself. If we find ourselves back here again, I would definitely stop back in! Our server was super nice and friendly, the ladies throughout were kind. The eclectic mix of tables and chairs along with the vintage furnishings led to a comforting atmosphere.

Good food and attentive and friendly staff! As a Northerner, experiencing Southern food is a treat. It was Wednesday, so the daily specails were either turykey or ham with choice of sides. Our meal felt like Sunday dinner with the family back in the day! Desserts were yummy, too. The rest of the menu had good options, so a trip back will be in order.

Great little local restaurant. Service and staff were great. We both had the Asian salad which was the best I have ever had - they were generous with the fruits in this salad, fresh and really tasty. They give you a mini banana nut muffin with your salad. YUM! Definitely would recommend this country-themed eatery.

Awesome place with charming decor. Super welcoming folks; it felt like visiting a sweet auntie who happens to be a great cook and loves to feed people. :) I had the day's special of creamed chicken with sides of rice and gravy, cheesy mac, and broccoli salad, all delicious. It came with home-made corn bread, and the sweet tea was great too. I was too full for dessert, but took an order of banana pudding to go, and it was (chef's kiss). Definitely a great place to visit if you're in the area -- and the town is really picturesque too.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch, and we both were blown away by the delicious food. I had turkey, she had meatloaf, and both dishes were as good as I've had. Our sides were delicious as well. This was our first time here, but we'll definitely be back when in the area.
