We have been to Yoder's several times in the past 20 years or so, but not for quite awhile. The price was great - 11.50 for all you can eat. The broccoli casserole was the best I've had in a long time, and the onion rings were delicious. Overall the food was good, but just not the fresh and ready appeal of in the past. Only one girl working the line and another older lady doing everything else in the dining room. Dated decor. I'm sure they're having to cut corners like everyone else, but it just isn't what it used to be. That doesn't mean we won't return, because we will.

For a place that's a whole in the wall (as in in the country for city folks), the food is really good. Granted I only had two items but those two dishes told me enough of what I need to know: they are good cooks.

We were very disappointed and wished we had never eaten there based on our first impression from the outside and the unpleasant odor when first walking in the door. The buffet was small and had limited offerings. The desserts were very unappealing and looked old, as they were floating in liquid. The salad was old. The green beans tasted like canned. They are missing a golden opportunity and are a disgrace to good Amish restaurants. I cannot recommend this restaurant. They need to begin with cleaning and serving fresh, homemade food.

Arrived about an hour before closing. Only meat selection was dark meat fried & baked chicken. Offered flounder but would have to cook. Servers friendly, baked chicken salty & vegetables okay. Nothing exceptional.

I hate to give it bad ratings...hard times i know..but that said I have to say it is very disappointing...food is never out and always have to wait for it to come out...some of service was good..there was one though that questioned us to a point it was an acquisition..pardon spelling...about how many vegetables we had..."just had to see it in color"...far cry from when I went there as a teen...sorry but don't recommend ...maybe dinner is better...for sure not lunch time...don't think I will go back

It's nice inside and is handicap accessible with handicap parking. They have a buffet but because they were getting ready to close out after lunch most items were gone. The cheese and broccoli casserole was hard. The lima beans and string beans were delicious and the only other dish was red potatoes in a sauce that was ok. 4 veggies is called a mini take out for 7.50. Fish, fried and baked chicken were gone.Unless you like chicken livers and they had plenty. I will go back at Supper time starting at 4:30 just to try and see if the buffet is worth coming back for. They are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday for Dinner and Supper. Just to let you know that Dinner means lunch in the South. I hope I can improve their overall ratings next week when I return.

I have purchased chef salads NUMEROUS times in the past. Got 2 tonight, not like it used to be. Not near as much, chicken was minimal, no cucumbers, 1000 island was awful. it was almost red. used to be the best I've ever had. so disappointing.

Wonderful home cooked food. The owner and staff are all friendly and accommodating. Well worth the drive for great food at a great price. Thank you Juanita for continuing the Yoder family tradition.
