I have never had a such a horrible experience at a restaurant than I had this evening. My husband and I decided to have dinner at the Applebees on Aiken after grocery shopping. We were told initially it would be a wait and said that was fine. We were seated rather quickly and placed our order.
Well two people came in absolutely reeking of pot and were seated behind us. My husband very nicely asked the hostess if we could switch tables as the smell gives us both migraines. The hostess was nice about it and allowed us to move. Well a half hour passed and we still didn’t have our drinks. The manager came by and asked if we needed anything. I very nicely explained the situation and said I didn’t know if the waitress knew we moved and I inquired about the drinks. She got my husband his beer but not my mixed drink.
Another 45 minutes goes by still no food or drinks and others who arrived after us are finishing their meals. I once again very nicely ask the hostess if they know we moved and express I understand how busy they are as I have been a waitress and know how hard it is. He apologized and gets a new waiter for us. The waiter was kind amd finally got me my mixed drink and had to look up our order. After another 20 minutes I can’t take it anymore and start crying and leave out of frustration and disappointment. My husband ended up talking to the entire wait staff and telling them we have been waiting over and hour and a half for our food and they all tried to blame each other. One said they told the manager we left, another said that we weren’t in his section and he couldn’t help us.
I’m an incredibly understanding and patient person however this could have been handled so much better.

Great experience. On a VERY busy night, Asia impressed us with her amazing management skills and her hospitality! Despite being short-staffed, the food was hot and good and Asia kept everything on the floor running smoothly with a smile and genuine hospitality. We were impressed and will return!

Omg where do I start 1st off the food was awful i ordered the ribs with ff and a salad I didn't get what I ordered they sent me riblets only 2 and ff and a salad that I clearly said no cumbers bc I'm allergic to them and what I had a salad wit cumbers on it so I sent everything back just to get the same thing that I sent back I should have known it was going to be a bad experience bc the parking lot was empty JUST CLOSE DOWN 🤮🤬🤬🤬🤬

Placed the same drink order at least five times but never received the drinks. But when we were handed the check we were charged for the drinks and other drinks we never even ordered. Service was quickly overwhelmed. Hostesses stood at the front watching everyone struggle. Saw drinks made at the bar and left up there for over half an hour. Saw four tables seated and at least fifteen to twenty minutes before a waiter/waitress ever asked for drinks. Heard the screaming/yelling from the kitchen. Absolutely pathetic
