CANNOT RECOMMEND My husband and I had a dinner party for 23 people and unfortunately used Blue Collard Catering for 4 pans of lasagna. It was probably the worst lasagna I have ever tasted in my 70+ years and did not resemble the normal lasagna you would get in any restaurant. There were 2 single layers of noodles sandwiching scrambled unseasoned ground beef with nothing to hold it together. As a result, when you tried to eat it, all the beef fell out onto the plate and separated from the noodles. There was a fair amount of mozzarella on top of the noodles, very little red sauce and that was "it". We just threw the last pan out - it was not salvageable, and it was embarrassing. Fortunately I had made a pan of Chicken and Rigatoni Alfredo which was all eaten. My husband wrote an email of complaint - we were not looking for anything but maybe some concern about our experience. No response. He then called and left a voicemail. Again, no response. It is now more than 2 weeks. I would not be writing here had there been any concern for the customer (us!). First and last time using Blue Collard Catering for me!

I went to Mackie Walker's birthday party today and the food was delicious especially the COOKIES!!!! The owner of Blue Collard was very courteous and friendly. My daughter's work uses them a lot and they have been very pleased every time!

I'm sorry, but we haven't had a good experience with two of the takeout dinners. First was a pho noodle type dinner and the best I can say is, blah. the second dinner was sesame chicken. it was even worse. Small amount of chicken, but mostly bland, dry flavorless rice. For the prices (and I'm glad to pay for quality), it missed the mark, substantially. they need to taste there products and decide, is this measuring up to what we want to be the measure of our reputation.

5 star! We hired Christian and Ashton for our wedding- this was my second time using BC, and they are simply the best! Their food is delicious, creative, not run of the mill by any stretch! Christian customized our menu to honor various family members, was eager to source harder to find options like oysters from the NE, and was an absolute pleasure to work with! Our guests remarked numerous times how good the food was, best wedding food they have seen! On top of this, Christian went the extra 100 miles with us, helping strategize on optimal layout, and over delivering with add ons like to go boxes of our moms favorite cookie recipes. Their communication is incredible, their attention to detail and passion for delivering a superb experience are palpable. Additionally, we hired them for Fri night at our house and the food was fantastic, but even better, you couldn’t tell they were ever there! I want to convince them to head up north to Pa for our holiday party!

Wife brought home dinner (their southern shepherd pie). The food was delicious on this cold night when we really didn't want to cook with wrapping presents and pre-prepping for Christmas weekend. It really hit the spot. Blue Collard will be visited more often on those times we eat out.??

Christian and his Blue Collard team are the absolute BEST. We were referred to them after our original wedding caterer was no longer able to do our wedding, about a month or so before the big day. Christian and Jess made what was a very stressful situation into one that was totally stress free. They took our original menu, worked with us to reshape it and the result was fantastic - hands down some of the best food we or our guests had ever had at a wedding. And on top of it all, they were sweet, kind, funny and just straight up good people. We so enjoyed working with them, and are so thrilled that we ended up with them after our original fiasco - we know that we truly ended up better off than we started! Huge thanks to the Blue Collard crew - y'all are total rockstars, and we feel very lucky to have met ya! If you're in need of a caterer in the Aiken area or beyond, look no further - Christian and Blue Collard is your guy.
It was a box lunch from blue collard ( The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious and the fruit cup was so fresh and included papaya and mango. I typically get the chicken poppy or chicken pot pie but the sandwich did not disappoint. My favorite cookie from blue collard is the lemon blueberry but the chocolate chip in the box lunch is a close second favorite choice.

My family and I were recently treated to a superb meal, entirely catered by Blue Collard. None of us had ever experienced their cuisine, but we were blown away by the presentation of the charcuterie tray, as well as the variety of delectable items selected for us, that included my favorite, liver pâté. That alone would have been a stand out experience, but following the charcuterie, we enjoyed a superb meal that consisted of chicken poppyseed casserole, duck fat sautéed green beans, an exotic blend of beans and quinoa, classic Mac and cheese, a garden salad and an amazing beef brisket. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. My husband and I just finished the salad last night and this morning I finished the liver pâté, and they were as fresh as they were three days ago! This surprised me but when I thought about how Christian obtains his food from high quality sources, it really doesn’t surprise me at all. We certainly would not have been able to find this freshness from grocery store products. Christian works constantly to maintain the high quality of his product and his reputation.Thank you to Christian and his staff. We were beyond impressed.

One of the few places that has a full range to provide any type, style, or flavor from breakfast to desert. Also the best BBQ this side of the Mississippi! Always more than satisfied when BC caters our events.
