My family and I went to Flanigan’s tonight around 7:30pm. I asked for soft serve and was told it wasn’t available. No worries. I then ordered a sundae for my spouse and was told there was no whip cream. Again, no big deal. My third order was a milk shake for my son who was standing there with me. I was told there “was no more milk.” We moved on with our order with no complaints despite multiple things being unavailable.
My problem is this… The customer behind my son and I - ordered a milkshake. The other employee said “OK!” I looked at the gal helping us and stated “I heard that.”
She then admitted to lying to me because (verbatim) she didn’t want to clean the machine.
Kayla, you denied an 8 year old child a milkshake solely because of laziness. Like I told her in the store, if she had been honest with me, I wouldn’t have cared at all.
I stopped visiting this location because employees were always rude and they lacked any sort of care for my allergy. Example: arguing with me when I asked them to remake a turtle sundae that they accidentally added brownies to AFTER I told them I was gluten-free.
We just started coming back a couple of months ago when I heard the staff interactions had improved. After tonight, we will spend our money elsewhere.

Google says closes at 9 pm, but I have been there a number of times like tonight where at 8:30 it’s closed. Owner should update hours.

Every time we come to visit Aiken, this is where we’re grabbing icecream! Their flavors change time to time and they’re always amazing. The staff are all kind, the space is clean, and overall have loved coming here over the years!

Ice Cream was very good. One of the best waffle cones I had. The only reason for taking a star away was not have my first two choices of ice cream available. To there defense they were very busy and even had a party going on in the back.

They were in my neighborhood and told my 5 year old granddaughter to come back in 30 minutes to get an ice cream after they served the neighbor's house party and left 15 minutes after that. They were in front of our house. This upset her as it would any child. I will never go there again. it's a shame that anyone would do that to a child.
