Courtney in the upstairs bar was awesome and her drinks were delicious! We were there on Masters Saturday and she was a one woman show and just cranked out the drinks not only for the bar but the restaurant downstairs as well. Sonya was very accommodating since we did not have a reservation on one of the busiest nights. The food was delicious. My hubs is a bread aficionado (lol) and he loved their bread, dinner was awesome! We can't wait to return

Absolutely wonderful! The food was great and the service was impeccable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that can appreciate relaxing, fine dining. Shared a pizza as an appetizer and it was delicious. All the entrees came hot and delicious and do not forget to have a cannoli for good measure.

My favorite place in Aiken. Every plate is intricate in flavor and every bite is delicious. From the first bite to your last, you will have an unforgettable time eating here. Props to a great chef.

The atmosphere is nice but the owners personality permeates the service in a not so customer oriented way. For instance one person ordered chicken parm and was offered a choice of pasta. I ordered sausage and meatball and also asked for a choice of pasta and that required the chefs approval. Food was ok but not exceptional. Service was very slow and seemingly disorganized. The server was a bit bristly when asked a second time for an order that had not come out and bristly again when asked to do an error in the check. It’s also a chore to make reservations. Just call their phone and listen to the extensive list of “dont’s” the owner lists. This a Resturaunt oriented first to the wishes of the chef- owner and not necessarily to the customer. In sum, slow service, and a bit bristly, not completely customer oriented and ok but not remarkable food. Better options in Aiken and Augusta..

I cannot begin to express how amazing this place is! I made a reservation for my husband’s birthday and the dinner was beyond perfect. The service was top tier and I wish I could remember the name of our waitress but honestly the entire staff plays a part in the experience of this restaurant and they are all excellent. The meatballs are out of this world, my husband had the baked rigatoni with chicken parm and he licked the plate clean. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, we will be back!

If you want real New York City Italian food this is definitely the place for you!The food was excellent in preparation, presentation and taste.Being a Brooklyn Boy (the other side of the VZ Bridge) I can truly say this is one of the best foodie experiences in South Carolina. Will continue to drive from Lexington to dine there.Parking: Enough for the restaurant.

I was so excited to visit on my birthday with my husband, but by the end we wished we had gone elsewhere. Basically, if you are not a regular you are literally forgettable. My husband made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and the restaurant called one week previous to confirm. Despite this, when we arrived, the hostess told us that we must have told them the wrong day (isn't the customer supposed to be right?). We were sent upstairs to the bar to wait. We ordered cocktails, but I could have made better at home. We waited 45 minutes for our reserved table and not once did anyone apologize whatsoever. This set us behind on the rest of our evening plans. Our waitress was one bright spot, as she did take great care of us. The bread was unimpressive for an establishment such as this, it seemed stale and the oil that accompanied it was plain (no seasonings aside from pepper). Our entrees were delicious, but what soured everything for me was how we were treated. We noticed over the course of our meal how the staff went above and beyond for the regulars, but it seemed like everyone else translated as an afterthought or even an inconvenience. Italian restaurants that I have frequented elsewhere in the world have had a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere for all. We did not get this feeling from this restaurant. Needless to say, we will not be back and we will not recommend it to friends and family.

We were visiting in Aiken and looking for a relaxed atmosphere with great Italian food. We didn't have reservations, so we had a hour wait. Enjoyed the bar atmosphere til we got a table. Service and food was exceptional. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan and the Clam linguine with White Wine clam sauce.

My wife, next door neighbor, and myself had dinner at Macaluso's on 1/10/2024. Starting in the bar- it was perfect. The bartender was professional, and quality of our drinks was exceptional. Main dining- also perfect. We were seated in the middle of the dining area on time, found the dining area comfortable and dinner/drink suggestions made by the waitress/host/co-owner were on target. We enjoyed the bread, bottle of wine, our selected meals, dessert and after dinner drinks. The experienced employee's and dedication of the owner's was truly impressive. We left feeling proud that Macaluso's Restaurant is doing business in our Aiken community.Parking: More than enough available parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to main dining.

Absolutely amazing experience all around. The bar upstairs is phenomenal and the bartender makes the best drinks we have had in the CSRA. The service in the dining room is always top tier and we have been here on numerous occasions. The owners are the sweetest people and are always so accommodating. You must get the meatballs or sausage and peppers for an appetizer. The salad is also a must have. I have ordered something different on the menu each time for my entree and it is all amazing.. Absolutely the best Italian food you can get in the area and probably in all of South Carolina. We love Macalusos! A rare gem in the Aiken area.
