I had a bad experience, the owner is very rude and arrogant, he took me out of the restaurant for just having a good time, I only had 2 beers and he very rudely approached me and told me to get out and that he will never come back. The truth is, I didn't use anything bad nor am I a rude person. The fact of drinking there is a nuisance for the owners...the truth is that those people, the owners, are a bad example. They have a very present attitude. The truth is, if you want to have a good time, some of the owners are bothered by the fact that you are happy. What a shame about the business and they radiate with their own Hispanic community...it is a very unpleasant place. for being a happy person and it seems to them that his bitterness can be seen for miles...he said that he would call the police and I wonder what his argument would be...that I am a customer and I am consuming and having a pleasant time...now American restaurants are capable of such baseness...the truth is that a restaurant lacks humility and empathy...it is not a good place for parents to have a pleasant moment. Owners need humility classes

Great food, but it took a long time to place our order. I got my drink quickly, but when the rest of my party showed, the server was nowhere to be found for about 10 minutes. Someone else took over our table and she was great.

Most unusual Mexican food ever. I had the lunch special #8 which included one taco, chili rellano , guacamole salad, & refried beans. First the beans had a most unusual color like yams or turmeric , no evidence it ever was a bean, bland flavor. The meat in the taco was just plain meat, no seasoning, dry, tasteless. I really wanted the chili rellano but what I received was questionable. It was like meat w/ cheese, and 2 dime sized pieces of a green vegetable ( pepper I assumed) mixed in then it was baked? In some kind of pastry? I am use to having 1/2 pepper (usually green bell or poblano ) packed with the meat & topped with cheese then baked. I really thought they sent me the wrong order but verified twice it was a chili rellano, but they were premade and frozen. I even showed them the 2 pieces of green vegetable. That’s just the way that restaurant makes them. On the upside, the chips ( unheated) very plentiful & they provide both a small bowl of salsa & a bowl of white cheese dip. The guacamole was very good. The waitress was very sweet.

Set there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our drink and food order. Had to finally had to call a waitress over, then it seemed like they were inconvenienced. So I won't be back

Had a terrible experience at Maria’s restaurant. Our friend ordered a regular margarita for $8, but when we ordered from the same exact menu section with listed flavors and no prices (NOT the premium section) we were charged $16 per drink. We specifically pointed to our choice when ordering, yet were told we ordered something premium, which we didn't. Despite speaking to our server, Maria’s refused to refund us or adjust the price difference. Deceptive pricing and unfair, wouldn't recommend. Who charges 16 bucks for a regular margarita in Aiken? Nobody! In what world is it normal to have a list of house flavors with no prices and charge one price for one and double for the one next to it??Thank goodness I was able to dispute with my bank since they, like everyone else in the world, think it’s deceptive to do business like this.
