We were the very 1st table on Monday morning. The hostess sat us at a little 2 top table, which there was clearly enough room and we would have been out before any lunch rush. Also had to sit for a solid 5 minutes before we were greeted by a waitress.
Beignets were very good, well the jam that came with it was. But the shrimp toast was unpleasant. Luckily I saved the jam from the beignets to put on some of my toast. The latte was delicious.

I had the chicken and waffles. The quality of the food was disappointing. The waffle was not fresh nor crispy. The quality of the chicken was vey low and it didn’t seem that it was fried (neither air nor grease) immediately before coming to me. It seemed that my meal was some prepackaged food that was warmed up.

I tried Neon Fig after a friend recommended the restaurant. They have an outdoor dining area which is nice. Since I dined during lunch hours, I can only attest to their breakfast and lunch choices which were great! I definitely would return. The restaurant is a great place to experience different menu options that aren’t offered in your typical southern restaurant.

This restaurant came highly recommended from the staff at the visitor center. We parked at the visitor center and train museum, spent some time there and enjoyed ourselves, and then walked a short four blocks to the neon fig. The day was beautiful so we sat outside, which was the right choice. Quiet street, lined with magnolia trees, on a picture perfect day. Kate was our server and was tremendous, perhaps a little too attentive, but took great care of us. I had the quinoa power bowl with the house, cured salmon. Absolutely delicious and the right choice on a cool spring day.

Had a late breakfast with a friend. Shrimp/grits were delicious along with a toffee cappuccino. Makenzie was a wonderful server !!!

We have dined at Neon Fig a few times for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Every meal has been fabulous and did not disappoint. We were with a bigger party but I only captured the main course for me and hubby. The only item that positive feedback wasn't given for were the creamed collards that came with the pork chop.

Neon Fig is always a great place to go for the not so generic food menus. NF has good for with a bit of a flair.
I had the house burger, and it was huge! The seasoning was just right, not too spicy or too bland. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was super chill. I highly recommend this place!

Generally speaking. The food here was average in my option for my initial visit. We tried the waffle dish / and the avocado toast.
The waffle dish sauce and made the entire dish very saturated and not flavourful.
I might come here again, the place is affordable as such. The Beignets were good.
