This is the best coffee shop in Aiken by far! I have been going for 3 years now and I usually just get a coffee but when I decide to get food it’s such a treat! The green Monster smoothie is probably my favorite item on the menu besides coffee! All of the people that work at New Moon are so fun and genuine. I always love my little conversations I have with them as they are making my coffee. Side note- Moon Beans, which is located a few doors down from New Moon, sells bags of coffee either ground or whole beans. Definitely check them out too!Kid-friendliness: there are lots of items on the menu that appeal to children and on a day that the weather is nice, there’s seating outside where you can watch the birds and draw on the sidewalk with chalk!

Love the smoothy drinks. I personally found the food average. The cold cuts on sandwich were grocery store deli quality. I appreciate the staff, the breakfast rolls and smoothies. Love the coffee beans.

Our experience was okay. It's a fun atmosphere, staff are friendly, and the food and coffee was good. But it wasn't great. It took us about 30 minutes to get our meals (soup and sandwiches). The soup (crab bisque) was okay, but it has an interesting consistency...kind of like a soup that you make in advance and then heat up, and it end up tasting different and thicker than it should be. The sandwiches were good. The bread was toasty and soft at the same time, a good combo, but I wouldn't say there was anything special about it. My husband loved the coffee, so that was probably the highlight! The place could probably use a good cleaning as well, but sometimes it's also hard to tell if a place is just old and has that unclean feel just because it's old and has chipped paint and all of that. We are here from out of town, so it's not something we will be dreaming about or planning to return to eat again, but it wasn't a bad lunch stop.

A small business that cares. They may not be perfect, but they're trying. Great food, great coffee, even better people. Support local businesses; support New Moon. I will.

The food was very good. The people were nice when I ordered. I sat outside on a nice Jan day. It was warm, sunny, and pretty.

Great coffee, fun savory breakfast. I even tried their cranberry muffin, they really underrated how to make naturally tasting treats without overpowering it with sugar. Lovely ambience, love they have displayed local artists. Nice team of people, super helpful and kind to each other. Town has very poor mobile coverage so I took my time to eat my breakfast and listen to them working together

Cozy with outside and two inside sitting areas. Art on the walls. We ordered our food and hot chocolate, which was brought to us. Our coffee was self-serve with free refills. It was not noisy, and almost two hours of talk went by quickly. There were three types of self-service coffee to choose from. One was caffeine free. All of the food was hot and only took about 15 minutes to be served. Almost all of the seats were in use, and there was a line at the order counter. Nice casual breakfast/coffee shop.
